"Do you think he'll wake up?" You nervously chatted to the doctor, hoping he could tell you something different than what he'd been telling for hours now, preferably that your husband would be awake soon.
The doctor in the white and blue scrubs nodded his head, "It depends on when he wants to wake up. He could wake up today or next month."
Anxiety bubbled in your chest and your stomach filled with nervous butterflies.
Taking a vacation was supposed to be fun. Not end up with you, along with fourteen other people cramped in a hospital waiting room, waiting for news regarding Seungcheol.
This all started the day after you had arrived at the beautiful resort. Everything had been fine the day you got their, it was quite boring though because you had to unpack. So you and your husband promised Secheol and Rina that the next day everyone would go down to the beach and spend the day there. That's what you did. You probably all stayed their for at least five hours, that is until something went terribly wrong.
These men armed heavily and with large guns came busting down the boardwalk of the beach, just shooting random people. One of them being your husband as well. Hence why you were in the hospital waiting for him to wake.
After he was shot, his body went into shock due to the blood he'd lost, and eventually he slipped into a coma. Not a permanent one, god no. The doctors reassured you it wasn't like that and that he would wake up eventually. But he basically would be the one to decide when he woke up.
You were thankful Rina, Secheol, you, and the members were fine. But you'd prefer to switch places with your husband so that way he wouldn't have to go through this. He was tough, but he's been through a lot, most of it having to do with being an idol. You just wished you could take the pain away from him.
