I'm proud of myself. again, this has been edited, but I'm sorry if I'm a little rusty or miss something, I haven't written and actually completed an imagine for about 6 months, but I'm going to try my best not to miss anything! Summary: Baekhyun and you have been dating for a couple of years, and the idea children surprisingly have never come up, not until you met Jongdae's beautiful daughter.

"She's adorable! she looks so much like Jongdae." You explained peering over at the little girl, only a few months old, lying peacefully in her white wooden crib. She looked so gentle, and small surrounded by a few small stuffed animals, one being a giraffe, gifted by Chanyeol, and a Koala Bear, Jongin had given.

All of Jongdae's members had gone overboard in your opinion, but it was a sweet gesture. Jongin had been one of the first people to arrive at the hospital when she arrived, and already having had experience with children and adoring them, he had brought a Koala Bear stuffed animal, and a cute brown bear onesie; she ended up wearing it for the ride home.

Chanyeol bought a giraffe stuffed animal, a larger giraffe stuffed animal that was positioned in one of the corners of the room, and a giraffe themed binky. He said the reason why he got so many giraffes is that she remembers they were always from her incredibly tall uncle.

Sehun, of course, had incredible fashion taste, so it would feel off he hadn't shown up to the hospital with designer clothes and an expansive looking bracelet. She was obviously too little to wear the bracelet, but one day she'd be able too. He'd always said his Hyung's paid for him, and he'd never pay for them, but he found himself splurging on Jongdae's daughter.

Junmyeon, being the leader and second eldest, had been the first one to arrive at the hospital, as you recall him taunting Sehun's way because he'd of course been the last one, had gotten a large fruit basket (the fruit obviously for the parents) filled with baby toys, books, and basic necessities; bibs, diapers, binky's, wipes. He was helping the happy couple get prepared.

Kyungsoo had said he had made a blanket a few years back while trying something new. It hadn't gone the way he expected, something about the patchwork being off? But then he managed to spruce it up, and gift that along with a baby book to Jongdae's daughter.

Xiumin had arrived third, carrying a plethora of flowers; lilacs, roses, daisy's, saying he wasn't sure which flowers to get so he got whatever he thought looked pretty. He also has made a sweet little book, filled with memories of the large friend group. Like EXO's very first stage together, Jongdae's wedding, pictures of the sonogram photos taken at every doctor's appointment, even one where he had written up above the Polaroid, 'Uncle Baekhyun looking sick as he asks out Aunt Y/n for the first time'. It was all a bunch of happy memories that she could look back on when she was much older.

Lay had flown all the way from China, with him he had a beautiful traditional garment from China and a kid book written in Chinese. He had said it would be cool for the baby to be multi-lingual, and he could even teach her Chinese when he stopped by.

You weren't sure what to get a baby, even if you had siblings, you had never witnessed them as babies, and none had children of their own, none of your cousins had young babies yet, so you were pretty clueless.

But you and Baekhyun had arrived with a little of everything, toys, flowers, clothes, Baekhyun even snuck in an expensive-looking butterfly necklace. He made sure to give that direction too Jongdae and his wife as soon as he arrived. You found out eventually though and found the gesture sweet.

Jongdae's daughter was already so loved, spoiled, and everything in between. She was beautiful, and you had started to think about things that you had never really taken seriously before. Maybe having a child, or children one day.

"She's so little and gentle." Baekhyun's voice came from beside you, looking into the crib well. You and your boyfriend were the babysitters tonight, seeing as though Jongdae and his wife had date nights every Saturday. It was suggested by the group when everyone except the couple realized that marriage also needed a little focus.

Each Saturday, you would go down the list of names in no order in particular, and then the cycle would continue. Last week was Kyungsoo and Junmyeon, this week it was you and Baekhyun, next week would be Chanyeol and Jongin, and then whoever happened to be next and could make it.

"Yeah, she's so cute. I can't believe Jongdae has a daughter. No offense, but I thought that Jongin or Chanyeol would be the ones to have kids first, I was surprised when he told us." You explained, reaching for the little girls

"He's not so innocent after all. I was shocked. But he's actually a good father, I'm very proud of him for changing his lifestyle around to accommodate for a child."

You nodded, agreeing with your lover. "He's done a great job. Juggling a career and a baby must be hard,"

One of Baekhyun's own fears, not being able to do what he loved and also care for a child that needed his love and attention twenty-four seven... How had Jongdae done it so far?

"I can't believe he's the first in the group to have a child and get married." You chuckled to yourself, admiring the young sleeping baby.

"Maybe we're next..." Your heart stopped. You and Baekhyun had surprisingly through your whole five years together had never brought up children. Marriage had come up once, but it hadn't been at a good time, so it had never gone past a simple mention of it. You and Baekhyun were good at communicating, just not when it came to becoming a 'real' family.

"You want to marry me? And you want to have a baby?"

He blushes. "Only when and if you're ready," He still wasn't looking in your eyes, smiling down at Jongdae's daughter. "I've always wanted to be a dad, I think it's one of the best things a man can do in life."

You smiled. You really have good taste in men.

"You know, you're really something else."

"Is that a good thing or bad?" He looked nervous. You chuckled loudly. "You're the only guy I've ever been with that's talked about what's they think it is to be a man. And I admire you even more for that,"

"So to answer what you said, of course, as long as it's with you, I'm ready for anything you are."
