A/N: sorry this is so short. I had no idea where to go from here, and had a plot but lowkey forgot about it, so I just published this because I couldn't think of anything. can I also say I miss hyunjoon very much.
Pairings: Heo Hyunjoon x Reader
Summary: Hyunjoon warns you and gives you a shiny new object.
Warnings: guns, crime, swearing (I think)
Words: 518"Where are we going?" You couldn't help but nervously ask your new found "friend" who was leading you further and further away from your house.
"My uncles house," he briefly nodded up the hill, probably where his uncles house was located. "He'll know how to deal with this. He trusted me with a gun, so the least we can do is trust that he'll be able to help us."
Nodding understandably, you continued to trek behind the tall, now blonde, male.
"So," you trailed the word on. "You said you had a record... for what?" Hyunjoon shrugged nonchalantly, making it seem as if it were nothing. But in reality, it had to of been something bad, hence why your mind allowed your body to shiver with chills and nervousness.
His neck craned back to quickly look at you as he said, "Graffiti. Nothing too bad." Although the boy was a complete stranger, sincerity and honesty was in his eyes, and oddly enough, you trusted what he had said. The nervousness went away just as quickly as it had came and the chills seemed to disappear slowly to your disliking.
"I didn't kill anyone if you're wondering." That was reassuring but just the thought of him possibly having killed someone brought the chills back almost instantly. "I wasn't thinking that..."
"Good. Because I wouldn't want you thinking I'm a murderer or anything."
You chuckled nervously. "Y-Yeah."
He was mysterious but oddly enough, very easy to trust in your opinion. You found it terrifying that you could trust him so much, mostly because he was a stranger and due to the situation you were currently in.
You were still confused about one thing though, and you were kind of nervous to ask. But you put the aside quickly and opened your mouth to speak. "Can I hold your gun?"
"Why?" He sounded offended.
You shrugged nonchalantly like he had done earlier. "Well... I've never held one before and I'm curious."
"You seriously want to hold it?" Hyunjoon stopped in his tracks abruptly, causing you to bump into his arm. You blushed out of embarrassment. You quickly gathered your words. "I-I wouldn't ask if I hadn't wanted too."
The boy glared at you. "Don't just go waving it around in public like this. You could get arrested."
"Obviously."
Before you knew it, Hyunjoon was reaching inside is jacket pocket, looking around skeptically before finally taking the gun out to reveal to your curious looking eyes. You stared at the weapon as if it were something magical, and thoughtfully reached out to grab from Hyunjoon's large hand.
The gun was sleek and the metal was cold on your burning skin. It wasn't too heavy, but did have weight to it. You stared at it, having a gut feeling you'd need to use it, at least once. It wasn't like you wanted too and by the weird nervous look on Hyunjoon's face, it seemed like he didn't want you to have to use it either.
"You're more likely to get shot being around a guy with a gun... so be careful."
