"Do you think we should just stand here like this?" Questioned Joshua disapprovingly, not bothering to listen in on the couple's conversation. "I think it's very inappropriate to be listening in on them like this" He furthermore stated, addressing the situation for what it really was, although some of the others didn't see a problem with what they were doing.
"Why not? They always keep things from us!" Stated Minghao, who nosily kept his ear against the wooden door, trying to listen to the conversation on the other side. "Maybe if we didn't always try to find out ourselves, they'd share things with us" Said Woozi, who seemed more vocal these days and less quiet, making his opinion known. "They're too secretive!" Jun snapped, pushing Minghao aside so he could lean his ear against the door, frowning when he didn't hear anything. "They have every right to be. They're married after all. Would you always want twelve men prodding in your marriage?" The eldest asked, truly wondering what the rest of them through.
"No. But as their friends, we're just looking out for them" Explained the fourth oldest. "Even though we're their friends. They are still our King and Queen. It's rude to snoop" Both Woozi and Joshua agreed.
To say the least, the twelve boys were pretty shocked and confused when Y/n, the Queen, had interrupted an important trade meeting to steal her husband and the King from them and some guests.
All of the boys had heard her whisper in his ear that it couldn't wait, before the young King stood from his chair at the head of the table and walked off, following behind his beloved wife.
Jeonghan also looked shocked, but nonetheless got up and followed his wife out of the large meeting room. And now, the twelve nosy boys were peeping outside the couples shared bedchambers. Some agreeing that this was an invasion of their privacy while others felt like they shouldn't be left in the dark.
"Jun, back up! I can't hear" Minghao shoved his friend aside in hopes of hearing a bit of the conversation that didn't involve any of them.
"Don't push me!" Jun snapped shoving Minghao just as hard equally back. "I can't hear anything either..." the two arguing boys found it weird that they couldn't hear anything on the other side, and even weirder when the rest of the boys looked oddly confused. "Maybe you don't have good hearing," Laughed Vernon as he approached the large door as well, leaning against it. "I know what I can't hear, Vernon" Jun's hand wrapped around the knob, ready to turn it but was instantly stopped by Wonwoo, who placed a large hand on his shoulder.
"You shouldn't do that," said the tall guard. "They are still King and Queen and have every right to throw us in the dungeons if they see us breaking into their room" He was right, as were Joshua, Seungcheol, and Woozi. But that didn't stop Vernon, Jun or Minghao. Though the rest were contemplating if they really sided with either side, seeing as there were sides now.
