"Xiumin, don't worry! Everyone will arrive" you patted your friends back, which you received a panicked jump from the older man. He fidgeted with his shirt nervously, eyes trailing from the door, to his wife who was heavily pregnant, speaking to her own friends and family.
"Lay is always late, as is Baekhyun" He said honestly, in a low whisper. You chuckled. "You know Lay was busy in China this week for promotions and Idol Producer, and Baekhyun has three newborns," Xiumin nodded as he lowered his head. "Give them a break"
Xiumin continued to nod, adding a sigh, then waving his hands to get rid of the stress and nerves. "You're right. Sorry, I'm just— stressed. I want to this to go smoothly for Irene"
"That's understandable. They'll be here soon. Don't worry!"
Like you said, Lay made an appearance fifteen minutes later, arms filled with gifts for the baby, as well as a few apology gifts for Irene and Xiumin, for being late of course. And Baekhyun had just gotten here with his wife, Jieun, both looking exhausted but had bright smiles on their faces and looked happy to be here.
You were now standing by the refreshments table, eyes scanning the crowd, looking for someone in particular, although you wouldn't mind if one of your friends approached you.
Someone bumping hips with you causes you to jump at the sudden contact you weren't expecting, your heart rate speeding up.
"So, I overheard the boys talking earlier about the kids, and couldn't help but wonder when you and Jongin would have kids..." Jieun, Baekhyun's wife, said as she smiled warmly at you. You couldn't help but blush at her.
"Everyone has kids, except for Sehun and his girlfriend; that is unless you're not counting Vivi of course" She joked earning a chuckle from you. "What about you and Jongin?" She was more serious this time, truly curios as to when you and your fiancé would be adding onto the family.
You just shrugged your shoulders, eyes looking into hers quickly before glancing elsewhere. "We haven't really talked about it" You admitted nervously.
Jieun's mouth hung open, shocked obviously.
"You've been dating for five years, engaged for nine months, and you haven't talked about children?"
