Pairings: Xu Minghao (THE8) x Fem! Reader
Summary: minghao doesn't like the north side, as he proclaimed boldly.
Warnings: swearing, angst
Words: 412"You probably don't understand. You're from the North aren't you? Things were handed to you your whole life, and you've probably never complained." The seemingly tall lanky boy with the mullet had exclaimed quite boldly as he walked steadily beside you.
You wanted to punch him due to the misinformation he carried and wanted him gone all together because he seemed to believe he had you down. "I'll have you know that I have my own job. I work for my own money." You snapped, teeth clenching together painfully.
You hadn't even known where this boy came from yet you were answering him as if he deserved to be answered. He just started walking beside you and released his anger in the forms of curses and strings of nasty remarks. Having never seen him before at school, you assumed he was new to the North Side. But when he started providing and proclaiming his hate for the North Side and it's people, you began to believe maybe he was from the South. That would make a lot more sense.
"Yeah. But who got you that job?" He was definitely angry at you and didn't like you at all.
"You know what? Shut the fuck up!" You were positive your voice had just risen at least several octaves and that someone had to of heard your loud announcement. "You don't have the right to mock or pick on me. I'd like to see where you come from." His eyes flashed dark and slitted into a glare.
"Not really," the boy muttered lowly, still continuing to follow you down the halls. "You couldn't last a day knowing what I went through." You scoffed at his statement, wanting to double over in laughter.
"What're you some angsty teen?" Stopping in front of your last class, you stood your ground and faced him before deciding to enter all together. "Go to class, and leave me alone." You growled, seriously hoping he would leave you alone for good because frankly, he was rude, obviously didn't like the kinds of you, and seemed to despised where you were born and had lived your whole life as if it were some disgusting, sickly virus. So yeah, you would rather steer clear of him for good.
His mouth just stretched out in a disarming grin that sent chills down your spine and through the rest of your numb body. "Whatever you say 'rich girl on the other side of town'."
