Love at First Sight

Chapter 5

Toothless P.O.V

We sat together talking, she told me about her family and how she missed them terribly, I found it very interesting to hear about her life. She asked me about my parents but I didn't really know how to answer, I didn't even know if I had parents. I just said it was a long story and turned away,
"Hey" she said softly and laid in front of me, "It's alright, I won't make you say" she gave me a warm smile and a lick on the cheek then dove down off the cliff, towards the ocean. I desperately wanted to follow her but I couldn't. She then flew back up and tilted her head at me,
"Well, aren't you comin?" She said, hovering there besides me, I looked to my dorsal fin, worryingly that it would break, but I stood up and dove off the cliff with her, and we flew to the moonlight together.

It was amazing, she was glittering under the moonlight, looking more beautiful than ever, her wing tip touched mine as we flew across the ocean, admiring the northern lights above our heads,
"So you don't fly often huh?" She said, looking at my shaking and wobbling,
"I do, but it's always with Hiccup" I said, looking at her then ahead again.
"You take fondly to that human, don't you?" She smiled, but then it soon turned into a sorrowful sigh, "Why did you decide to trust him?"
"Because he's always been there for me, always by my side and we've done everything ever since, he's my brother" I replied, looking at her. She was nodding slowly to my words then she peered at me, "So not all humans are the same?..."
"Of course not, granted I've been captured and forced to fight a few times but Hiccup has always been there to rescue me" I gently nudged her side, "I'll race ya!" I grinned then flew off into the distance, roaring towards the moon.
