Lightfury P.O.V

I flew towards Berk with Toothless in my grasp, his head lolling forward exhaustedly as his eyes were drooping.
"Go to sleep.." I murmured down at him softly as I landed upon a secluded island where we could take a break and I could study his injuries further.
He watched me gently feel along his arm where a long scar was plastered, softly seeping with fresh blood as I closed it up and sealed it with my plasma, though it hurt him like hell all he did was grit his teeth and flinch. I moved down to his stomach and his legs and did my best with the slashes and bruises along his waist and down his thigh, another long scar draping up his tummy and up to his chest, there was nothing I could do for that apart from swill it with my waterbending from any dirt so it didn't give him a bad infection. Toothless was watching me the whole time, almost as if he was...admiring in some bizarre way, but I wouldn't have a clue what he was admiring.
"Luna..." he murmured softly up to me.
"Hm..?"
"You're amazing..."

My heart began to race. Amazing? I was amazing to him?
"W-What?"
"I said you're amazing" he purred up and me and gently took my cheek so my flushed face turned towards him
"H-How..?"
"Just the way you are...sticking besides me this whole time and helping me like now.." he stared up at me with them electrifying emerald orbs that shimmered under the sunset.

It happened all over again. We were there. Just the two of us staring back at each other, I couldn't help but purr at him and stroke the side of his face with a faint smile.
Despite him being scarred and bloody he was still just as handsome...Still the Toothless I...I...
