Chapter 13

Toothless P.O.V

Before he could finish me off for good a couple of chains were thrown around his neck, and he was pulled back into the cages again. I was left there suffering for a few seconds before they took hold of my tail and dragged me away to the cage again.

I laid there helplessly, and when the arena around us shut in darkness the Lightfury rushed to my rescue,
"Oh my gods Toothless!? Are you okay!?" She panicked, nudging my head up and examining me all over. I was badly injured, but I didn't want to make a huge fuss about it, I gave a few of my wounds a lick and a pamper but that's all I could do. I was still very weak, unable to stand and walk on my own four legs, and if I did I would stumble to the ground in agony,
"I was so worried!" She whimpered, blushing lightly when giving me a friendly nuzzle on the cheek, "when I heard the world 'deathgripper' I thought you were done for.."
"I'm okay.." I muttered softly licking at my wounds again, she gently licked at my back wounds, gently dragging her tongue, it stung but it wasn't agony.
"How long will we be here for?..I can't stand you getting hurt..." she whispered fretfully as she looked at me with glistening eyes.
"Hopefully not long..." I whispered raspily, I was completely parched, my throat was like sandpaper as I swallowed and I was starving but I kept my complaining to myself and nestled down besides the Lightfury to rest for a few hours, before my next big battle.

(Short chapter! Seen as you guys are missing it. I'm so sorry for the slow updates! I'm currently not feeling so well and having mental health issues so i hope you'll understand. Don't panic, I'm not stopping this story any time soon, still lots more details! I'll catch you guys when I'm well!
