Toothless P.O.V

She seemed very interested in listening to my story. And I quite enjoyed her company because it would feel lonely without her.
"So...What about you? What's your backstory?"
"Oi Oi Oi. C'mon. I wanna hear about you as a baby before we get to me." She curled her paws over one another and laid down, comfortably listening to me.
"Well. I can't really remember anything as a cub to be brutally honest. I met a female when I was a child though, that's all I can really remember from my childhood was her." I sighed with a smile "I miss her a lot, she was my best friend and she still is but....I wish she was here." I laid his ears back slightly and sighed with more sorrow "I hope one day we find each other again..."
"Oh...that's very sad...I'm sure she misses you a lot, Toothless." The Lightfury put her tail through the bars and wrapped mine with it, squeezing it softly with a reassuring smile. I flushed terribly but held onto her tail softly.

"Oi. You two." A low voice came from behind them, it was Slade.
"Heyyyy Slade." I smiled softly then stood up and turned towards him, the huge violet Deadly Nadder smiling very faintly back. The Male fluttered his scarred wings softly before tucking them in on his back, his honey coloured eyes glistening.
"So. Is there a plan? Any sort of escape? Anything?" He sounded rather desperate for any signs of escape so I chewed on my lips thinking.
"I think I got something."
"Lay it on me buddy boy."
"When I go out next which will be soon. I'll try my best to attack whoever I'm up against next, but I'll give a signal when I think everything is right, when the hunters aren't paying attention and there's more of an escape route." I looked to the dragons all eavesdropping me "My signal will be my alpha roar. When you hear it...all of you, you burst through your cages, I'll get out of mine and loosen your locks, come through that double door and attack any human hunter and dragon killer in your sight. I'll call my good friend Cloudjumper to help us hoist the metallic chains above the arena. And boom. We're free."
The dragons around me cheered endlessly, I was relieved to know I revived their spirit and their hope for another day, to see the light again. I was determined to show them, I wanted to show them I could do this, I could lead them on and take them back to Berk, so they had a proper home with proper care.
"You've got a big spirit in ya lad." Slade nodded "And you lass." He looked to the Lightfury "I'm proud to call you both my loyal friends, and we couldn't be more thankful for you both to be here and finally spark our hearts once again. I'm truly grateful for your help."
I nodded back to him with a big smile
"My pleasure. I'm here to serve you all as a king and an alpha, I need to make sure you all have the freedom you deserve. Now. Who's with me!!?"
