Chapter 6

Toothless P.O.V

She caught up to me easily enough, she was very sleek and swift through the air and above the clouds, we raced and raced until I got terribly out of breath, but she was still energetic.
"Nawww come one old man" she grinned, "can't handle a little race huh?"
"I don't fly often enough" I panted, gliding down a nearby field and flopped onto my stomach, exhausted. She smiled and glided down, neatly landing on her paws and sitting besides me, she watched the moon falling down to the ocean line. I sat up slowly and stared, it looked amazing.

Suddenly she flew up in the sky, roaring down at me,
"Toothless move!" She yelled, her eyes skimmed into perfect slits while staring into the forest, I turned around and looked, eyes narrowed to see what was there. It was so quick, but I was shot in the neck with a dart, and then I fainted onto the floor.

Lightfury P.O.V

I flew up into the sky, sensing something dangerous behind us, I could hear deep whispering too.
"Toothless move!" I shouted, skimming my eyes and looking into the forest, he stood up but he didn't move, he observed the area, as I dived down to grab him he was shot in the neck with a dart, he wobbled and whimpered, then he collapsed. I stared into the forest, looking at four hunters emerge and creep over to him, two of them were aiming at me,
"Move one inch towards this dragon and its lights out for you" one of them warned, grinning slyly to me. I snarled and dove down to him, I was too quick for him, I grabbed his arms, flew up and threw him so he plunged down into the ocean. I turned around, fury lit up in my eyes, and I flew down to the three, I grabbed one of them, but then I was shot in the back with a dart. I yelped in pain, then I dropped to the floor, roaring and flailing around helplessly. I passed out then. I couldn't see or hear anything, the only thing in my mind was darkness.
