Everyone looked at me.
EVERYONE!
My phone was ringing! And oh god if that wasn't bad enough my ringtone is so bad I forgot to buy a new one! So I sat there awkwardly as "Crush" by Jennifer Paige played loudly. I got up and went quickly into the hall and saw it was an unknown number. I was about to put the phone away and say "Ef it I don't have to answer!" But something told me o answer. Just a feeling in my gut. So, naturally I answered.
"H-hello?" I said.
The person on the other line sounded kinda angry. "Sophia!! It's Liam!!!"
"Oh hey Liammmm!!!!!"
"Hey! Uhm listen umm... The guys, the workers, simon they- they all know..."
I knew EXACTLY what he was referring to. "How do they know?!" I started uncontrollably blushing.
"I don't know!!! But they wrote a SONG about it!!!"
"How do you know it's about u-"
"We were together summer '09!! Lying on the beach as the sun burned wild!!! Hit the pedal heavy metal!!! God Sophia it's spot on!!"
"Eep sounds like it!!"
"Yea... I think we should meet up... Talk about it."
"Yea sure." Was he asking me out...? No, no he couldn't have been... He has a girlfriend named Danielle I think it is... But the way he said it though...
"Where do you wanna meet?" I could hear his light smile in his voice.
"Hmm how bout the place?" I naturally wanted to meet up on the restaurant on the shore of the beach.
"The place... Alright sounds good! I'll pick you up at 7!!"
"Sounds great!!! Byyyyyeeee muah!!!"
"Byyyye!" He hung up.
I went back into the classroom and gathered all my stuff together. The teacher looked at me like I was crazy. "Where are you going miss Smith?"
I tried for my innocent smile. "Oh I'm not feeling too well I'm just gonna go home. May or may not be back tomorrow. Well bye!" I walked out to my car, left thinking about my night. I got in and quickly started the car and drove to my place.
