The guys and girls looked at me. "What?!" I asked them.
"You should-" Niall started but I cut him off.
"I was planning to ask her!!! She keeps talking about it I can't ask!!!" They all drew in breath. Nobody seemed to see it coming?
"You should still ask..." Rebecca said quietly. That's the first time I've ever heard her say anything besides Harry's name while she's in a closet.
I nodded and looked at the guys like 'anything else?' They shook their heads and gave me a thumbs up for support.
I was trying to find her but I just didn't know where to look. I mean, where do broken hearts go?
I went to a little dark empty looking room where I could see her going. Sure enough she was sitting on one of the stools, leaning her face in her arms, and her arms on the counter. I didn't say a word. I just went to her and turned her around. I saw we was crying.
"Soph..."
She didn't speak.
"Sophia." I tried again. She didn't listen. "Sophia... Sophia Payne..." She looked up slightly. "I knew that would get you. Listen." I covered her mouth as she was about to protest. "Wait. Listen. I've been meaning to ask you something. Don't think it's just cuz you melted down today because it's not that. I actually have been meaning to ask you but you kept talking about it and I wanted it to be a surprise." Her face was priceless. She raised her hands to her cheeks to try to cover the blushing. When I removed my hands from her mouth it was open and gaping.
I got down on one knee. "Sophia Smith. My beautiful wonderful fantastic girlfriend. What do you say about being my future Mrs. Payne?" I reached behind me. With heart in my throat, I pulled the box with a magnificent silver ring with a green gem in the center. Utterly gorgeous. I opened it up to her.
"Oh my god!! Liam!!! This is- wow!!!"
"I know!!" I smiled all cheeky. "So what do you say?!"
"Well... Yes!!!!"
"Yes?!!" I smiled and took her left hand and put the ring on her ring finger. I stood up straight and she nearly tackled me with a hug.
I regained my balance and picked her up slightly off her feet and kissed her.
