That night after the party we went home and lay down. Liam looked at me and said somethin crazy. "Hey wanna go to the beach tomorrow?"
"Sure?"
"Or now?"
"Uhm. Alright." I don't know where he was heading with this. Well maybe I did but...
"Alright let's go then!" As I went to my closet to change, he stopped me. "No stay just how you are!"
"Liam im in my pajamas." It was true. I was in my pajamas of undergarmets covered by a silver and green bath robe.
"I know. But you look beautiful. I love it."
"Awwwwhhh! Don't make me blush!!"
"Can't make any promises love!" He blew me a kiss that I caught and put to my heart.
"Well alright! But you can't change either!"
"Fine! Let's go!"
We went and got in the car. We drove to a pretty beach and sat down. The moonlight brought back good memories. He set up a blanket and sat down and beckoned for me to sit with him. I sat next to him and he pulled me into his lap, softly kissing my ear and reaching for something I couldn't see.
He had gotten his guitar and held it in his arms, in front of me. He leaned his chin on my shoulder and started strumming a soft tune. He started singing along with the sound.

"Going out tonight, changes into something red. Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress. Everything she ever had, she's showing off."

I realized he was singing about me, when he took me to the school dance when we were sixteen.

"Driving too fast, moon is breaking through her hair. She said it was something that she won't forget. Having no regrets is all that she really wants." He kissed my ear then strummed a little louder and sang a little louder.

"I'm only getting older baby. And I've been thinking about you lately. Does it ever drive you crazy just how fast the night changes? Everything that you've ever dreamed of. Disappearing when you wake up. But there's nothing to be afraid of. Even when the night changes," he kissed my ear. "It will never change me and you."

My heart was bursting, swooning so much. I couldn't function. I missed times like these with Liam.

"Chasing her tonight, doubts are running through her head. He's waiting, hides behind a cigarette. Heart is beating loud, she doesn't want it to stop."

He sang about my inside conflict between dancing with him and my boyfriend at the time. How did he know?

"Moving too fast, moon is lighting up her skin. She's falling, doesn't even know it yet. Having no regrets is all that she really wants.

"I'm only getting older baby. And I've been thinking about you lately. Does it ever drive you crazy, just how fast the night changes? Everything you've ever dreamed of. Disappearing when you wake up. But there's nothing to be afraid of. Even when the night changes, it will never change me and you.

I smiled brightly at how sweet the song was. He seemed to have put a lot of thought into it. And it didn't sound familiar so i think he might have written it himself.

"Going out tonight, changes into something red. Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress. Reminds her of the missing piece of innocence she lost." I giggled a little and gave him a look.

"I'm only getting older baby. And I've been thinking about you lately. Does it ever drive you crazy, just how fast the night changes? Everything that you've ever dreamed of, disappearing when you wake up, but there's nothing to be afraid of. Even when the night changes," he turned to face me, still strumming on his guitar just not looking at the strings. "It will never change baby. We will never change baby. It will never change me and you." He left the last syllable hanging. I wanted him to sing more.
I wanted him to write me more songs.
"Baby!!!!! Did'ga write that?!"
"Sure did!!" He smiled and kissed my cheek. "Wrote it from scratch! That was why I brought you out here! I love you!!!"
"Awwwhhh Liam I love you too!!!!!" I smiled as he pressed his lips against mine.
