Chapter 14 : Torvosaurus rex

Two grey Mercedes cars parked in front of the Allosaurus enclosure. The inspection group exited the vehicles. Dr. Wu caught them up.

« This temporary enclosure is impressive. » Hamada said. « 10-meter tall concrete walls prevent the dinosaurs from escaping the enclosure. The only armored door and a small technical door allow people to get into there. We have a surveillance room with a guard inside and four other ones in watchtowers. Moreover we are miles away from the park. And the glass is bulletproof. » Claire explained. « I know. I want to know if animal welfare laws are respected or not. » Hamada replied. « Yes for sure. This way please. » Wu said.

The group headed to the western side of the building – which was accessible via the inside and led to the observation room. A Jurassic World Ranger welcomed them. « Mike – this is Takahashi Hamada – the UNO inspector. », « Mr. Hamada. ».

The interior of the enclosure was mainly a wooded area. « How are the animals Mike ? », « They're sick and very angry today. ».

After entering the enclosure – Hamada saw three grey carnivores in the enclosure. They were around 8 meters long and 3 meters high and had three-fingered strong arms.

« You bred Torvosauruses – right ? », « You got it. ». The Torvosauruses growled in anger. « Are they angry because of the DX ? », « Yes indeed, Wu said. After a long conversation about finding a cure to the disease named DX – the group left the room as the Allosauruses angrily shaked and growled. Claire was even allowed by Masrani himself to give her nephews a helicopter ride. « I will inspect the Dilophosaurus Dome – Masrani's Golf and this man named Owen Grady tomorrow. And we will have to investigate the appearance of animals – dubbed Huppia and Chuppacabra by Costa Ricans – which are described to look like lizards. » Hamada said.
