Chapter 51 : Evacuate the island

Owen and Maisie – followed by Claire and her nephew and niece and Maddy were now heading to the evacuation point. They saw a door about one hundred meters away. Then Claire took her phone out of her pocket and looked over the messages. « I got a SMS from Hoskins. Masrani's dead. » she said. But Owen and Maisie were focused on something else. They indeed saw blue feathers on the ground nearby them. « I know who's over here. » Owen said.

The group then precautionously walked towardds the door. Only to encounter the three remaining raptors. Blue was the only one to have kept her headset. Echo and Delta each had one in their jaws. It was now Maisie who approached Blue and managed to remove the camera from the neck of the raptor. The three animals – seeing these humans were not interesting preys darted in the jungle – leaving the six-person group alone.

« They're free now. We can go on. Good job Mais. » Owen said.

The protagonists then resumed their walk to the door and entered the bunker before dexcending the stairs leading to the evacuation tunnels. Then Owen's phone rang. It was Barry. « So Owen. Are you and Mais still alive ? », « Yeah we are. », « Glad you made it – Owen's favorite lucky bastard. », « She right. I owe you one. », « Listen. A Navy Blackhawk helicopter is waiting near the old park. There's room for the seven of us plus four Navy guys. I will get you in the ruins of the old raptor holding pen. Can you get there safely ? », « Yeah. Mais and I already went there via the tunnels. », « OK. See ya there. ». Owen then switched his phone off. « OK fellas. Going to another park. », « Cool. We're going to Jurassic Park. » Gray said. « Yeah Gray. And most of all. We'll go home and leave this doomed island. » Maddy added.

Then Maisie and Owen led the rest of the group in the tunnels – knowing what way to go.
