The children spent the night with Claire and were now fully awake at the worker's village. But it was Sunday so Claire was now wearing a green T-shirt and jeans as well as boots which much more comfortable for such a ride.
She got hired two years ago because of the competencies working in numerous animal theme parks. Claire was satisfied to have a day to enjoy as her job was so demanding she sometimes only wanted to have a shower. However – Claire hoped nothing was going to ruin her journey with her nephews even if Wu and Zara could handle her job for a while.
« What's the surprise Aunt Claire ? » Gray asked. « You shouldn't have told him about the surprise. », « Why ? », « Because he becomes uncontrolable after this. ».
The car parked in front of a helicopter landing ground. Gray understood : the helicopter ride was the surprise Aunt Claire promised him. The white and blue helicopter landed and the trio boarded it. « Where's Maddy ? » Gray asked. « I dunno. Maybe with the soldiers we saw chatting with Aunt Claire. Why ? » Emma answered. « I think she's right. I love her. » Gray confessed.
There were Hamada and Regis who Claire introduced to Emma and Gray. And as the helicopter took off – Gray looked at the pilot. 'Naw – it ain't possible !'. He knew that Claire's boss was named Simon Masrani and wondered if it the CEO himself.
As the pilot turned his head – Emma and Gray recognized him – confirming Gray's thoughts. After a short conversation – Masrani dodged a flock of birds and flew over Jurassic World City. « It's like Miami ! » Hamada said. « Yes it is. The climate and the landscape are very similar. ». The helicopter flew over the lagoon – the boys could see the Ichtyosauruses and the Elasmosauruses swimming. The helicopter then flew over Main Street from where the boys could see two T-Rexes eating goats. After Masrani explained Sarah Harding's theory about dinosaur behavior – Gray only became overexcited and only wanted to see the dinosaurs. Then the fog began to rise – forcing Masrani to go to the south of the island. Gray then saw the golf green where dozens of people were practising. Finally the flight was performed over the Brachiosaurus Plain. And Gray could see several cabins running up mount Sibo.
After the helicopter landed – Gray headed to Claire's car along with Emma and Claire. « I want to see the Brachiosauruses ! They don't wait ! », « I sometimes should handcuff him. », « Don't say this Emma ! ».
