Around noon. Isla Nublar was in sight as the ferry approached the island.
« Wow ! The first dinosaurs of the park ! Pelicans ! » Gray exclaimed. « Don't care of these ones. We came here to see dinos with teeth ! » Emma responded. « I just wanna see my dad wearing his uniform. » said Maddy.
They were all lucky. Maddy and Gray could see whales and dolphins swimming into the Pacific Ocean – while Emma chatted with teenagers. Gray also had time to see from which countries the tourists were coming from. He understood quite well that the desire to see dinosaurs wasn't extinct. He knew it would be the travel of their life for most of them – as Isla Nublar was hard to reach. Fortunately – the prices were low enough to allow every people to come at least once in their life. And talking about fortunes – the port area was increasingly easier to see.
« Hey ! There's a marina ! » the sister said. « It's for the wealthiest customers. » Gray answered. « Yeah – too small for a carrier or a destroyer. » Maddy replied. The two of them were right. Several yacht boats and sailing boats were moored into the marina. A bigger port and a kind of overseeing office were built a bit further. A liner was leaving the port and tourists were walking on the docks « Hey guys ! I thought tourists came via a ferry. », « Some cruises end in Costa Rica. ».
Meanwhile – Admiral Shane met Murphy and Nolan – who came earlier via a Huey helicopter from the USS Bastogne – about overseeing a crisis. « OK – in case of a crisis – the two of you will be commanding your 150 men – who are going to land upon Isla Nublar to evacuate people. I'm going to command the overall operations of the Aviation and the ships. Alright. We all know each other's competencies – that's why I wanted to meet you. To make it short – me naval operations and the two of you field operations. » he said. « Yes – sir ! » Nolan and Murphy answered simultaneously. They then return via the same helicopter to their home ship to spread the word to their men.
The ferry was finally moored upon the jetty and tourists came down and heard the message 'Welcome to Isla Nublar.' spoken in several languages. The same message was read by the children on the welcome banners. There was also flags with the mention 'Jurassic World – 10 years – 2005/2015'.
A woman was waiting for them holding a tablet on which 'Emma and Gray Mitchell' was written. « I'm pretty sure it Aunt Claire's assistant. Come on bro – let's go. ».
The two siblings approached the woman – who was a brown-haired – around thirty years old – wearing a white jacket and black jeans – as well as sunglasses and a brown handbag.
« Hi – are you Aunt Claire's assistant ? » Emma asked. « Yes. My name is Zara Young. She wants me to tell you she is sorry. She had to attend a lecture and meetings. ». « Thanks. She warned us. I'm Emma and the little excited guy there is Gray. ». « OK. Let's get to our room via the monorail. She's gonna meet you at the Discovery Center. ».
They all got into the monorail and – as it started its journey – Gray became more and more impatient. Then as Gray heard 'You can see the gate opening at the front of the monorail' – he ran towards the front. And it was an amazing view.
The monorail passed through the door and Gray admired the landscapes of Nublar. He was viewing the landscape when he saw the brachiosauruses Doc Emmet Brown was describing. They were accompanied by Stegosauruses. In the same monorail – Maddy was sitting – obviously upset because of returning to the island her father always hated. The two of them saw Jeeps and trucks riding visitors among the dinosaurs and hot-air balloons above dinos. « Wow ! I wanna be in one of these balloons. » Gray said. « Not me. I prefer being in a Huey or a Blackhawk. » Maddy replied.
Everyone was photographying dinosaurs. Magics was obvious.
As the monorail was arriving to the Hammond discovery center – Gray was amazed to see the resort in front of his eyes
This building interior was amazing and and the sun lighted the immense hall – which was decorated with plants.
A board was displaying the different monorail stations – as other ones displayed the operation times of every attractions and the ones of the cinema. An advert was showing what was possible to do as distractions in the park. Jurassic Tennis, Jurassic Golf, Jurassic Paragliding, Jurassic Bungee jumping, Jurassic Hike, Cretaceous River.
« Your aunt will meet you at the holoscape. » Zara said. « Is your brother always like this ? », « Yes. It's been two years we didn't see Aunt Claire. », « Got it. ». Zara was happy to see a happy child. Her work was becoming even harder as the InGen projects were making progress. She intended to marry and have children without settling on Nublar not to confine them on an island. Gray saw all the technology at the holoscape and touched all of them with glee – excited to be here. Then he ran to the statue of John Hammond. « The man who made Jurassic Park. » he muttered. « Yes indeed. He is the founding father of InGen – Gray. » Claire said. « Aunt Claire ! » Gray yelled. « Emma and Gray. Welcome to Jurassic World folks. ». « Hello Aunt Claire. » Emma answered.
« Wow ! You look so grown up ! Emma – you're a young girl now. », « That's it ! », « It has been – two years maybe ? », « That's right. », « Since I'm Park Operation Manager – it's hard to go back to the US. But now we're gonna have a wonderful family vacation together. Here – your VIP passes. Keep them around your neck. You can pass every attractions with them. As well as money. », « You're coming with us – right ? », « No – I have VIP guests – but from tomorrow on – we'll have fun. I can rest for the entire week. », « I want to see you – Aunt Claire. », « I get you at 19:30 hours. We'll go to the ten year party. Zara will follow you for the afternoon. ». Claire then turned her back and exited the holoscape. « Well. Who's hungry ? » Zara asked, « I am » the siblings answered, « Where do you wanna go ? », « Is there a fast-food nearby ? », « OK – let's go. »
Meanwhile the US 11th Fleet was performing dayly operations as usual when a message came. It read « To Admiral Shane. Isla Nublar. Alert. DEFCON 5. Not a training. Real situation. »
