Chapter 44 : Arguing

In the control room – everyone was now discussing the plan which Masrani approved and Hamada disapproved. Vivian then had a call. « OK. Thanks. Mr. Hamada ? », « Yes miss ? », « A Navy helicopter has landed and is waiting for you. », « Good. Tell the crew to wait. ».

Owen then entered in the control room cradling Gray along with Maisie followed by Claire – Emma – Maddy and their escort.

« If you want a detailed briefing of the situation. Your dinos entered the park and tried to eat several persons. », « You won't give us moral lessons anymore. Mr. Grady. », « And we'd have had it with your ego. If you listened to me – the kid wouldn't be sick right now. », « Hoskins found a genius plan to kill the allosauruses. », « Your so-called good plan is a failure. », « You must trust him Mr. Businessman. », « Not the two military of you. You are only good at upholding terrorists ! ». This angered Hill and Rollins who pointed their M4 rifles at Masrani and Hoskins for Hill as well as Lowery and Vivian for Rollins. The two of them had the finger on the trigger. « Easy guys. We gotta find a solution. » Owen said. The two military then lowered their rifles. « We got to apply this plan. Your raptors are actually ready. So stop lying ! », « And you should listen to Owen's advice. », « Yes. They only trust three persons. Me – Barry and Maisie. », « No ! YOU WILL DO WHAT I SAY. AND I WILL FIRE THE THREE OF YOU ! ».

Hamada and the two military managed to keep calm until now. But now was too much. And he had to say what he wanted the industrialist what he thought. Then a voice the two sailors recognized as Tim's was heard through the intercom. « YOU listen to me ! Listen you asshole. I deny any responsibility for this plan. Desperate, Hamada put on his jacket and exited the room to get to the Navy helicopter. « Do what you want. But if the operation fails and leads to innocent people's death – I deny any responsibility. And your park is now over. I got other things to handle. ». Hamada then definitely left for the Navy helicopter.

« Hope you know what you're doing. As Hamada said – I'm not responsible of the operation and I deny any responsiblity. And you're gonna regret it. », « Don't look forward to teasing me. », « You'd fucking better listen to him and abort this plan. ». Then Hoskins intervened. « Please do it for me. And think about your reputation if we stop this. », « I don't care about our reputation anymore. And our career here is over. », « Human lives here are more important. And your guys must be used to help my men. ». Rollins and Hill then left the room and managed to reach the nearest evacuation point by following a small track in the jungle and get to the improvised Navy staging area at the north of the island through the evacuation tunnels and without encountering any dinosaur.

Owen then phoned Barry and told him to prepare the velociraptors for the operation because it was impossible to convince Masrani of the futility of the operation.
