"I seem to be spending a lot of time in your bed," Louis said smiling. I punched his shoulder, but pulled him closer to me.

After all the craziness, Louis house was surrounded but fortunately mine wasn't. Obvioulsy my parents were gone on a business trip as usual and I convinced Louis to stay.

"Yeah, well. Don't get used to it," I said with a smirk. In all honesty I liked falling asleep with his arms around me, but I wouldn't tell him that.

"I'll try." He lightly brushed his lips to mine before we both pulled apart and got up from bed.

I shook my early morning hair and flopped onto the couch. Louis laughed as he followed me into the living room.

"What?" I asked pertaining to his laughter.

"No pancakes?" he asked biting his lip to hold back a smile ineffectively.

"Very funny," I said sticking my tougue out.

He sat down beside me on the couch as I absentmindedly flipped through the channels. We watched crappy televison, laughing at the ridiculous shows. After an agonizing rerun of the Jersey Shore, Louis' phone rang in my bedroom. He jumped up and ran to the room. I heard the ringing stop and be replaced with his muffled voice. He paused for a minute, before saying a curt goodbye and hanging up. He came back into the living room, and I knew something was wrong.

"What?" I said studying his face. His eyes shifted and then came back to mine, deciding something in his head.

"Nothing. It was just... Liam."

I raised my eyebrow at him suspiciously.

"Uh-huh. Now tell me what it really was."

"No, it was Liam. He said that the boys are going to the park. Liah's going too. He asked us to come."

I could tell he wasn't telling me the truth, but I let it slide. Whatever it was, he obviously didn't want to tell me just yet. So I didn't pry into it. I nodded.

"Alright then. To the park."

The park was empty, and I hung on the chain of the swing set.

"Where is everybody?" I asked sitting down in the swing.

Louis shrugged and sat down in the one next to me, when suddenly I was pushed forward, forcing me to grip the swing for dear life. The swing and I were thrown into the air, and I let out a little scream. As I swung back, I saw Harry and Niall dying with laughter. The two morons were laughing at my pain....

"Oh goodness, Alex! You scream louder than I thought!" Harry said leaning over he was laughing so hard.

I dug my Chucks into the ground and stopped myself abrubtly. In a swift movement, I threw myself off the swing and at Harry. I was ontop of him before he could even attempt to dodge me.

"Hey don't just torture me! It was Nialler too!" he said putting his hands up defensively.

"Throwing your fellow man under the bus? Tsk, tsk," I said shaking my head.

"Well now that I think about it, I kind of like you ontop of me." He wiggled his eyebrows.

"Oh come off it," I groaned, rolling my eyes. I laughed and let him out from underneath me.

Liah and the rest of the boys came out from their hiding places in the jungle gym.

The day at the park was a lot of fun. We had ice-cream, kicked around a football, and just plain forgot about the media. We played silly games and danced around the playground like stupid idiots. And you know what? Being stupid was the most fun I'd had in a while.

I laid down, letting my legs hang off the merry-go-round as it leisurely went around. I stared up at the grey sky, studying the clouds as the drifted across the horizon. I was so focused, I barely noticed when Louis jumped on and sat down beside me.

"What was the call really about, Louis?" I asked, not taking my eyes off the sky. I hadn't forgotten. I saw the way he looked coming out of my room. It wasn't Louis. He sighed and laid down next to me.

"Our break is over," he mumbled.  "The tour starts back up next week."

"That's great! Why didn't you tell me?" I said turning my head from the sky to look at him. He gave a bleak smile.

"I thought you woud be upset that I didn't tell you earlier," he confessed.

"Well, I mean, I knew you had to go back sometime." I paused and gave a small laugh. "I just wish it wasn't so soon."

Louis grabbed my hand by my side and brought it to his lips. He kissed where our fingers were laced together.

"Me too."

The sudden realization that I would no longer have this silly, messy-haired, perfect boy every day hit me... hard. I felt my eyes become hot with forming tears, but I didn't want to cry. I buried my face in Louis' jacket, and he wrapped his arms around me tightly. I let out a shaky breath.

"God, you really have to go, don't you?"

"Yeah. I wish I could stay longer." He pushed a strand of hair away from my face and saaw my ready-to-cry eyes. "Alex, please don't cry."

He wiped away a tear that had escaped with his thumb. I shook my head.

"No. I'm happy for you, really. You're going after something you love. I'm not going to keep you from that."

Louis smiled and kissed my forehead before I tucked my head back to his chest and he mumbled into my hair.

"I wish you could come with me," he said low enough to where only I could hear. I smiled, but pulled back.

"Nah. You'd get tiered of me." He smiled.

"Never."
