Louis wrapped his arms tighter around me from behind me and kissed the back of my neck, trying to wake me. I hugged his arms closer to me, moaning for him to go back to sleep. He gave a quiet, evil sounding laugh and ripped back the covers. I flinched at the sudden cold, my legs being exposed. Louis laughed and ran his hands down my legs.
"Cold?"
"No." Sarcasm was dripping off my voice. "Because that comforter was just so suffocating," I spat.
Okay... So I'm not a morning person...
"Here," he said.
He rolled over and placed himself over top of me, pressing his chest to mine and lowering his face to where I could feel his breath on my cheeks. He smirked and held himself up on his elbows.
"Warmer?" he asked.
"Almost," I said mischieviously.
He got the hint and lowered down to where his lips met mine. One of his hands was by my head while the other made small circles on my hip. I wrapped my legs around him, smiling into the kiss. While he was distracted I tangeld my hands in his hair and flipped us over, catching Louis off guard.
He smiled and had a surprised look on his face.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing. I just like this." He smirked, watching as my legs stradled his hips.
I rolled my eyes and he sat up so now I was sitting on his lap. Putting his hand behind my head, he kissed me again.
Suddenly, a banging on the door made us pull apart. Hi sister was telling us that breakfeast was ready. It didn't seem to faze Louis.
"Just ignore it," Louis said before diving back to me. I laughed at his eagerness.
His sister started to bang harder, and I rolled my eyes. I put my hands on Louis chest and pushed him down.
"Whoa!" he said as he fell back onto the pillow with a light thump.
"Come on," I told him, with a small laugh. "It's hard to snog when your sister is right outside."
"You were snogging?!" her voice came through the door.
Louis groaned, but I grabbed his wrist and pulled him out of bed. He wrapped his arms around my waist from behind, and we akwardly walked to the kitchen, laughing at our clumsiness. His family all sat around the table when we walked in. Louis still had his arms around me and his mother gave a bleak smile, noticing this. I tried not to take her scrutinizing looks personally, but it was hard to when the looks were painfully similar to my parents. I kept my head down as much as possible...
Louis and his family kept up their steady conversation, the family asking Louis about the tour and Louis asking about school and work. It was casual and normal, but for me it was a little alien. I knew families like this existed, but it was hard to picture myself in their enviorment. (Bloddy hell, I sound like I'm talking about a nature documentary.)
But in all honesty, I did feel a little out of place. I mean, my family was barely in the same country, let alone sitting at the same table.
Even then though, I was able to nod my head or smile at the right moments, adding a word or two here or there. At least this conversation was going better than the previous one. The only difference was that I was keeping my mouth shut - a hard thing for me.
Louis held my hand under the table, but that was it. He kept his eyes focused on his family which I liked. The steady rythum of his thumb rubbing circles was the only thing that kept me grounded. It involved me into the close-knit family.
