"What?"I heard Niall ask sleepily. He was on the phone with someone. I snuggled up closer to him and burried my face in his chest while I wrapped my arms around his torso. He put a free hand on my back and began to trace circles on it.
"Niall? What's going on?"I asked sleepily.
"Nothing Princess."He said quietly. I grabbed the blanket and pulled it up over my shoulder. "Wait what?.... Really?..... For how long?....... Well could Liah come?....... No?....... How come?.......Fine. Bye."I listened to Niall talk. His voice was scratchy, still trying to warm up from sleeping. I loved the way it sounded.
"Niall?"I asked. "What's going on?"I looked up at him. He met my eyes with his brilliant blue ones. I could see something in his eyes, even in the very dim light of my living room in the morning, but I couldn't tell what it was exactally.
"Just.....work stuff. That's all."he said shrugging. His feathery blonde hair stuck up everywhere, looking like a golden halo around his head where the sun shone through it.
"What is it that I can't come to?" I traced little circles on his abs making him giggle a little. He was ticklish. I laid my hand over his stomach and waited for him to answer.
"Don't worry about it."he said, his voice catching. I nodded not wanting to make him more upset. He seemed a little shaken up as it was. That worried me but I just let it go.
"Okay."I said simply. Sometimes losing the argument or the discussion is better than winning it. I sat up and leaned back against the couch and pulled my knees up to my chest. Niall took a curled lock of my hair and twirled it around his finger. I watched him. He looked stressed out.
"How about we go to the park. Does that sound good?"I suggested smoothing down his soft hair. It was getting longer, but I liked it like that.
"The park?"he asked looking at me skeptically. I nodded.
"Yeah. Is there something else that you would rather do?"
"The park sounds great."he said smiling at me. I smiled back. I heard the old wooden floorboards creaking and knew my mum was up.
"Morning mum."I called softly. "Do you mind if I go to the park today with Alex and the lads?"
"Morning hun. No I don't mind."she said kissing the top of my head lightly. "Good morning Niall."
"Morning ma'am." he said smiling at her. I watched her as she smiled back at Niall warmly. She liked Niall which was great.
"I'm going to be working today so go ahead and go do whatever."she said walking into the kitchen. Niall smoothed down my hair and then trailed his fingers lightly down my back. I smiled at him.
"I'm going to go upststairs to get ready."I said. "Here come with me."I said taking Niall's hand and dragging him upstiars after me. He sat down on my bed and I went into my closet to get my clothes. As I turned the handle on my closet to open it, I looked over my shoulder and saw Niall with his head in his hands, his blonde hair sticking up everywhere.

"Oh my gosh! I have to go do this!"I said pointing at the curved metal play structure. It was an arch with metal rungs in between that you can climb on either the top of it or the bottom.
"Okay, go ahead." Niall said laughing. I grabbed his hand.
"Come with."
"Fine."he sighed. I rolled my eyes and we walked towards the arched playstructure. I let go of his hand and jogged the last few meters. I jumped up in the middle and swund my feet up towards the rungs above me. The arches of my tennis shoes caught and I put my legs over the rungs so I was holding on with my knees and my hands. Memories of playing on this when I was little with Alex flooded back, making me smile to myself.
