I laughed at Liah's face. She was trying to hide her intrest in what I knew. Oh bloddy hell, I thought. She looks like she's gonna explode! I decided to hold out on her.

"How could you Alex of all people know they were coming! You don't even like them!" she said as we took a corner in the courtyard.

"Let's just say I have my connection," I said holding up my hands innocently. Like the internet and a credit card. I laughed at my own joke inside my head.

"Legal ones?" she said suspiciously. I sarcastically shook my head in diasappointment.

"Damn, you know me." Liah laughed and punched my shoulder.

"Come on Future Murder Mastermind, tell me!"

"Fine, fine." It was time to tell her. I prepared myself for the screams.

"I knew they were coming back because I bought you tickets for your birthday." Her mouth started to open in a screech but I clamped my hand over it before she could make a sound. "I'm not done yet so shut up. I got us into the signing too."

I still had my hand over her mouth, but she didn't care and screamed anyways. She started jumping up and down and looking ridiculous with my palm glued to her mouth. When she finally stopped the yelling, she was still hopping and I uncovered her mouth. She squeezed her arms around me in a giant bear hug.

What did I get myself into?

I pointed at her sternly and laughed.

"Put. Alex. Down," I commanded. She set me down and continued to sing What Makes You Beautiful across the courtyard. "Liah!" I said, skipping closer to her just to show her how funny she looked.

She came back over to me with the cheekiest grin I'd ever seen.

"Yeeeeess?" she slurred.

"Stop. You sound drunk."

"Don't worry, I'll save it for the signing." She twirled around. "You are the best friend in the whole world!"

"I know. Don't make me regret it."

"Oh you know you love me!"

"I love you enough to tell you we're gonna be late if you keep doing that weird rain dance thing." I said pulling her towards the doors of the school.

"When have you ever cared about getting on-time for class?" she laughed as she was being dragged by her wrist.

"Since it saved me from having to hear about how sexy Niall's gonna be in person!"

"Oh I didn't think about that." She paused her walking and gave a blank expression. After a second the biggest smirk came over her face. "Ahhhh... Ok. I'm better now!"

I rolled my eyes and slipped into the classroom. Liah took the seat beside me. The teacher looked up from her desk and peered over her glasses at me with a disapproving look.

"Alexandria Cate! If I have to tell you and Liah Sheffield that you are not allowed to where those types of shoes in my class one more time it will be the dean that you talk to!" I kicked my left black Chucks with my right.

"He'll probably think they're fashoinable," I stated. Both me and Liah were pretty tight with the dean. I have no idea why. Maybe it was the innopropriate music I slipped into the school dance playlist. Or maybe it was the fake blood Liah put in the pree's bathroom. Your guess is as good as mine.

"Well I'm guessing he will not think the same of those pants. Miss Sheffield is off the hook in that case, but you?" She tapped her finger on her desk.

I again looked at my red plaid pants innocently.

"Skirts make me feel too easy." I looked at the girl next to me who had her skirt hiked up to the top of her thigh everyday. "You'd know how that feels right?" I said to the girl.

The teacher slapped the slip of paper onto mine and Liah's desk faster than the girl could open her mouth in disgust. Liah and I slipped out of the room and burst out laughing as we made our way down the hallway.
