I laid on the couch in Louis room, my head on his lap. He gently storked my hair as we watched an old movie I loved. It was nice to just be together. Alone. Happy. And not caring about tomorrow. After I while, I felt Louis' eyes on me. I looked up at him, my hair sprawled across his legs.

"What?" I asked. Louis shook his head.

"I'm just really happy you came."

"I'm glad I came too."

Louis' face suddenly twisted with pain and he pulled me to him. I was taken aback at first, but I wrapped my arms around his shaking back. He wasn't crying, but not crying was almost worse.

"I don't want you to go," he whispered.

"You'll see me in a month Lou," I said, but I knew what he was going to say.

"A month is a lot longer than usual lately."

"Hey, hey. We'll be fine." It was all I could think of. How do you convince someone they're going to be okay when you're not sure yourself?

"I know. I can't help it, Alex. I love you."

I smiled.

"I love you too." Then I shook my head. "But let's not worry about that tomorrow. What about tonight?"

He didn't answer. He slowly cupped my face in his hands and bit his lip. I let every thought of tomorrow go as his lips came to mine. Sweet and soft at first, Louis quickly changed that. He hungrily grabbed my legs and pulled me ontop of him. Now I was stradling his hips, and his hands slipped into the inside of my shirt. Every move. Every breath, so eager and wanting like I was never coming back.

But as he kept going, I wanted to follow. He parted for a minute as I grabbed his shirt and threw it aside, but quickly, he brought me back to him again.

Stop, I thought.

My hands were inside the waistband of his jeans, and Louis bit down on my lip.

Stop.

He pulled on the edges on my shirt and soon had it off.

Stop.

Reluctantly, I pushed on his chest and made us part. I rested my forehead on his and felt as his heavy breathing crossed my lips. I could tell he wasn't done, and neither was I. He kissed my neck, trailing up my jaw.

"Louis," I said softly. My skin burned where his mouth was.

He rested his lips on my shoulder and paused.

"We should stop, shouldn't we?"

I nodded.

"Sorry," he breathed. He gave a small smile. "I haven't had this in a while."

I smiled too.

"I get it. Neither have I." I bit down on my lip. "Does it get easier? Being...apart?"

Louis shrugged and shook his head.

"I don't know. I've never felt the way I feel about you."

For the first time in my life, I blushed.

"Really?" I asked. He nodded.

"I meant it when I said I love you, Alex," he whispered, holding my hand. He kissed my knuckles.

I didn't know what to say. I leaned down and gently gave him a quick kiss. A promise more than an answer. He knew what it meant. I loved him too. More than anything.

But a sudden knock at the door, made us pull apart. I tried to get myself off from stradling Louis, but he held me there with a smirk.

"What?" Louis yelled at the door.
