Chapter Nine xCate

We were having a great time at Harry's flat until Lou came out and I told Alex to go talk to him. Apparently Lou and Elanor had broken up. We all sat in the living room silently for a bit before Alex announced she was going to leave.

"I need to get home."she said. I gave her a confused look knowing her parents wouldn't be home.

"Okay."Harry said disappointed. "Do you need a ride home?" She shook her head and gave me a hug before she strode to the door.

"Bye Alex!I'll text you."I said sitting on the floor next to Niall. Alex gave me a thumbs up over her shoulder before walking out and closing the door behind her.

"You alright Lou?"Zayn asked watching Louis. He was sitting on a chair his knees brought up under his chin. The posture made him look younger, but his face looked older-sadder. He shook his head.

"No but it's my fault I guess....wait. No it isn't!She was the one who changed! Not me. She's the one who made me do this."he said putting his feet down on the floor. Harry went over and sat on the arm of Lou's chair. He took Louis' hand in his and said,"I'll never change Lou." Louis rolled his eyes. I yawned and checked my phone. It was almost eleven. Crap!

"I'm going to have to get going too."I said frowning.

"Please don't leave."Niall pleaded taking my hand in his.

"Sorry. I have to." I stood up and walked to the door. As I put my hand down on the handle I felt the door start to shake and I heard screams outside the door. I jumed backwards having no clue what was going on."Holy-!"I yelled then covered my mouth. Immeaditly I felt arms around my waist. I laughed."I'm okay Niall."I said knowing exactally who it was.

"You sure?"he whispered his breath tickling my ear. I nodded and he released me. I felt the butterflies in my stomach. Then there were bangs on the door and on the windows.

"What is going on!?"I asked throwing my hands up into the air. I peeked through the little hole in the door and saw a crowd of girls. I stepped back from the door dread overcoming me. There had to be hundreds of fans surrounding the Flat complex if there was atleast twenty just infront of Harry's.

"Harry. It looks like you have some company!"Niall said looking through the hole. I turned to watch Zayn and Liam look out the windows not opening the curtains all the way. They both shut them almost immeaditly.

"Yeah. The place is surrounded."Liam said looking at Harry.

"Well what am I going to do!? I have to get home!"I said starting to panic. How was I going to explain to my mum?!?

"Hey, it's fine. Harry isn't there a fire escape?"Niall asked walking to the windows. I stood by the kitched door, arms crossed over my stomach. My heart was pounding. Corwds. They're always following the lads. You think I would've expected it....well I didn't.

"Yeah."Harry said,"It goes down into an alley."

"If they're leaving I am too."Louis said standing up. "I'm going back to my flat so I might be able to get some peaceful sleep." Harry frowned at him.

"There's woods over by here right?"I asked Harry still in the hall. I was forming a plan in my mind. Go down the fire escape, make a break for the woods. There weren't any lights so we would be covered hopefully for long enough to get into the cover of the woods. From there we would either Louis' flat, Niall's flat or my house.

"Yeah there is."Harry said. We were all standing now.

"What are you thinking Liah?"Liam asked me.

"Louis, Niall, and I go down the fire escape and make a break for the woods and go to whoevers place is the closest." I explained walking towards the group of the lads.
