10 PROM

It has been weeks since the debacle with Lee.  He got the message and stayed away from me while we were in school.  As for June she would call me up, and we would either meet, or she would pick me up for a girls day.  The best day we had was when we went to look for my prom dress.  Of course, we had picked it up before Noah gave me the promposal.  I ended up with a burgundy off the shoulder dress with long sleeves that hugged my body and flared out at the hips.  It had a lace overlay, and the sleeves were pure lace.  I made sure the dress went down to the floor in a bell shape, and I couldn't help but love how it fits me.  We were able to find a gorgeous pair of shoes to match.  Of course, having June help me find the dress helped Noah with his tie and the corsage.  Noah picked me up in his dad's red Lamborghini.  Yeah, it was a mid-life crisis purchase, and the only reason June didn't kill him for it was that as she said he looked hot while sitting in the car. 

Once we made it to Prom, I saw Lee across the way with this girl that had just transferred at the beginning of the year, and he seemed happy.  I heard from Duncan that her name was Wendy.  I couldn't help but smile that Lee didn't have to come to prom by himself.  As Noah and I sat with Duncan and his date a girl, I didn't know named Sandra who made me want to rip off my ears because she was such an airhead.  Tuppen was also at our table with another girl I didn't know called Lucy that was beginning to piss me off with the amount of time she kept hitting on Noah.  Tuppen was even getting annoyed that his date was ignoring him.  Everything was made right when yearbook guy came up with a mic and asked so, what would you do if you are voted prom Queen Evans?  Just as he put out the mic, a slow song came on, and she told Noah "hey, how about a dance and maybe you can ditch the good girl and let me show you what I can do?"  He glared at her "I have already told you I am engaged and I am not interested.  Plus you are here with my friend, and sorry I don't do sluts."  I started laughing when she realized everyone heard him and she glared "You are so ruined here dude."  I laughed "do you even know who he is Lucy?"  "No, and who cares he is a nobody.  Besides the guy I want is Flynn."  I laugh even louder right when the yearbook guy grins "so, Flynn what would you do if Evans wins Prom queen and has to dance with the Prom King?"  "Well, as long as he keeps his hands where they are supposed to be and nowhere inapropriate nothing.  If he strays to areas that only I should touch well...."

The look on the girl's face was priceless "your Flynn..."  "Yep, and this is my fiancee Elle Evans.  I guess you didn't hear how the sweet innocent Elle Evans won my heart and tamed the bad boy of Buckner Hall."  About that time I notice that the yearbook guy is now at the stage and Lee is standing next to him.  I hear him clear his throat and look out at the crowd.  "OK, guys as I know you all have seen my twin and I have not been talking or hanging out with each other over the last few weeks.  Well, I screwed up.  No, that is not good enough I fucked up.  See I busted Rachel Winters cheating on me.  Her reasoning when I confronted her about her actions she told me that it was because she believed me and Shells were more than we were letting on.  Even though I guaranteed her nothing has happened between Elle and me, she looked at me and told me she believed it was only a matter of time.  After denying everything turning and leaving, I hear "besides who wants to date a 17-year-old virgin.  Plus I only kissed you at that kissing booth because I felt sorry for you.  As for dating you I just wanted to get close to Flynn."  I blanch because Lee is openly admitting the fact he has never had sex and that Rachel used him to get to Noah.  "The next day I started one of mine and Elle's games, and when she got away from me, I ran after her and pulled her up against me and kissed her.  Yes, I kissed my best friend and brother's fiancee.  I didn't care that she pushed me away and that I knew from the moment we kissed that I didn't love her.  I begged her to love me, to let me be the one to hold her to kiss her to love her.  I knew that doing this could destroy my brother's and her relationship.  All I cared about was that one I was alone and Elle had a boyfriend for the first time and two I needed to lose my virginity, and I figured if I broke them up losing it to my best friend was better than some random girl."  I feel tears stream down my face as Noah wraps his arms around me.
