The girl they found (Yori)

Brooklyn

We looked everywhere to see if there was anywhere to go besides where we came from. Tyler got so angry he clenched his jaw and punched the wall opposite the door. When his fist came in contact with the wall, he quickly pulled his hand back, wincing in pain.

"What on earth is this wall made of!"

As I glanced at his fists, they were bruised and crimson red blood was evident on his knuckles. I watched the wall and the wallpaper on it was slightly peeling off.

I quickly began to peel off all of the paper of the area, soon they all caught on and helped me peel the paper off.

When we were finished there was an entire wooden door in front of us.

" Come on guys we need to get out of here before Mr. Hot head wakes up," I explained.

The door was surprisingly unlocked when I twisted the handle, I opened the door and there was a staircase leading to the next floor.

We quickly ran up the stairs.

When we reached the top of the stairs to the room, we looked around and saw that we were in the waiting area of the hospital where friends and relatives of patients were. There was also a room with some couches and a table, the walls of the room were glass so we could have easily seen through it.

Tyler, being the best friend, he is, came next to me.

"What's up with Xiomara, I saw when she mouthed something earlier on but I couldn't make it out, she looked pissed."

"She thinks I like Lucas," I replied

"Don't you? "

"Like if, "I said annoyed.

"I mean he is a jock and he may not be so intelligent but he's a nice guy." He said, nudging me on my shoulders.

"Sure thing" I replied, anything to get out of this topic.

All of a sudden, we heard a peculiar noise coming from the far end of the room but nothing was there.

"What's that noise," Lucas began.

"I think we should go back." Xiomara answers.

"You think that we should just go back where we came from just so we could bounce up with that man again, and probably get killed, Xiomara are you that stupid!" Lucas shouted.

Xiomara was so taken aback about what Lucas said that she just flinched and turned her head away from everyone and said something under her breath.

I thought I wouldn't have said this but I did, "Lucas doesn't be so hard on her she's just scared. "I replied.

Xiomara just stared at me astounded that I would even defend her, despite the way she treated me since I came here but she's still a human.

"Just to make sure something isn't wrong, let's just go in the room and wait."

We all agreed and began to file into the room. Xiomara and I were the last of the group to enter the room. Just when I was about to enter Xiomara spun me around.

She mumbled, "You see what happened back there and that little discussion, it was nothing so don't think I'm going to back down, I'll do anything to get to Lucas even if it means getting rid of you, like it or not but you're going to be gone and no one will even realize."

"You're So foolish to believe you can get rid of me that easily Xiomara!" I retorted.

I know I should have told her that I don't like Lucas, but she needs to realize how stupid it would be to get rid of me.

"We'll see Brooklyn we'll see."

"Psychopath." murmured under my breath.

After my encounter with Xiomara, I walked into the room closing the door behind me. I went over and stood next to Tyler. I watched the new girl and thought she was a little too quiet. "Are you ok?" I asked the girl.

"Of course, I'm ok," Xiomara muttered.

"I wasn't talking to you; I was talking to her," I said pointing at the girl.

"Y-yea I'm o-ok." She stuttered weakly.

Suddenly I just had this feeling that someone was watching us.

When I turned my head to face across the room. I saw Lucas looking at me when he saw me looking back at him, he quickly turned his head to the other direction, boys. I'll never understand them.

All of a sudden, my wrist was grabbed roughly by an angry Xiomara.

"What is wrong with you!" I shouted.

"You want to know what is wrong with me, you are the problem, you will always be the problem once you're around."

"I am the problem? At least I'm not the one threatening people to stop getting in their way." I said sarcastically.

"You guys need to stop." Lucas interrupted. "Shut up!" We both shouted at the same time.

I was about to shout something else to Xiomara but stopped myself when I saw a shadow pass next to the room. My eyes grew wide and my heart palpitated in my chest at an incredibly fast rate.

"What's wrong," Lucas asked with concern in his eyes. The shadow was now right in front of the glass room.

But I could see the shadow a bit clearer as it leaned against the non-clear glass. I managed to raise my arm and point to the window.

Everyone turned in the direction I was pointing to.

"Oh, my god!" Tyler shouted.

The man had a wicked grin on his face that will haunt me forever. Everyone was frozen on the spot.

The man reached in his pocket and pulled out a gun and walked to the door. All of us docked to the ground. Two-gunshots were heard and the door flew open.

" We need to think of something or else we are all going to die," Tyler whispered.

"What do you think we should do?" Lucas asked. "Well there are five of us and I think he is by himself; we could probably take something from in this room and use it as a weapon, maybe like a surprise attack." Tyler quickly answered.

Tyler scanned the entire room looking for something. He then saw a torchlight and as he was about to grab it the door broke down revealing the man with the knife in his hands.

There was no more time left so Tyler just stopped reaching for it. We were all Frozen on the spot not caring to make a move.

The man walked up to Yori, the girl we found, and stroked her cheek making her flinch back in fear and disgust. "Are you afraid of my little escaper?" He said. He then slapped her and shouted," Don't you dare try it again!" Tears began to stream down her face.

"I'm just supposed to transfer you all to a location and I'm not supposed to hurt you but I can't be wasting time so if anyone dares to do anything stupid as she did, you'll reap the consequences.

I was so infuriated that he hit her and made her cry that I did not think about what I was going to do but I couldn't stop myself.

" Stop it!" I shouted, not wanting him to shout or hit her even more.

The man's head snapped in my direction. Tyler and Lucas's faces held fear for me in their eyes. The man reached me in less than a second.

"What did you just say, little girl."

His being calm was worse than him being angry, to say the least.

I was pretty sure I just dug my own grave. The man was burning up with anger, his face was red. I could practically see steam coming out of his ears and nose

He then secured his gun in his hand and pulled me towards his chest with the gun against my temple. My breathing became heavier and heavier. I felt like I couldn't breathe anymore.

Well, I am in one hell of a predicament.
