I watched in terror as the man pulled Brooklyn towards his chest putting a gun against her head.
Brooklyn watched Tyler and me in fear. I noticed that Tyler wanted to make a move but I gave him the eye reminding him of what had happened the last time.
Xiomara had a wide smirk on her face. She disgusted me. I knew from the beginning that Xiomara wanted to get rid of Brooklyn.
I do admit that I had feelings for Brooklyn but I don't think she feels the same way by the way Tyler described her to me.
The man then kneed her to the ground with the gun firmer against her temple. She was trying not to cry but you could see that the tears were threatening to fall.
I hated seeing her like this but then again, we couldn't do anything just yet.
"What do y-you w-want." She said stumbling on her words.
"I'm just doing a job and I intend to get that job done whether you like it or not." He responded with a malicious smile on his face that automatically made me cringe.
This man was the definition of psycho, we all looked at the man confused because we had no hint what job he was talking about. For all, we could guess was his job was to kill us, but then again wouldn't he have done it already if that was his intention?
"If you kids don't comply or heed what I tell you to do I'll hurt the girl."
Brooklyn stared at us with pleading eyes. The man then roughly pulled her up, with the gun still against her temple.
"Follow me, and do not play any tricks, or I won't hesitate to shoot. "
We began following the man. We then reached a room with doctor equipment like knives and tweezers etc. It had a table in the middle of the room and chairs around the corners. I'm beginning to think that we're not the first set of people who have been in this situation.
Brooklyn
The man ordered them to sit on a chair.
"Make a move or I'll shoot you right here right now. "He whispered in my ears causing a cold shiver to run down my spine.
He then stepped away from me and tied all of their hands and feet with ropes.
For some reason, I was scared because he didn't tie me to a chair like the others.
When he was finished tying them to the chair, he walked towards me and murmured for me to not move a muscle.
He went into a corner of the room and pulled out a phone from his pocket and started to talk to someone. The others may not have been able to hear what he was saying but I could have because he wasn't too far away. Therefore, I listened in on the conversation.
"Boss I got the people, there's five of them."
"We just need one more person but I'll take care of that, bring them in right away, and please don't hurt them, only if it's necessary, I don't want my test subjects to get hurt.
"Sure, thing boss."
As he hanged up the phone, I quickly stopped listening in on the conversation they were having and lowered my head, looking at the ground. I was startled, to say the least, now there were even more questions in my head than ever before, it flooded my brain all at once and they needed to be answered.
First of all, why would someone need us?
What were they going to do to us?
And why on earth did that woman just called us a test subjects?
