Brooklyn

I opened my eyes only to realize that I wasn't anywhere near the hospital. My eyes scanned the area trying to recognize anything familiar about the place I was in. The place was full of trees everywhere and there wasn't a sight of buildings anywhere. I was so hungry I could eat an entire elephant, I hadn't eaten in hours, I felt weak and tired. I don't know what this was, "Some kind of sci-fi movie or something" I thought to myself. I began to walk around to look for my friends.

"Yori!"

"Tyler!'

"Lucas!'

Not a sound answered me back.

I sat there for hours unable to move since my leg was injured. It was starting to grow darker by the minute and I was getting anxious because I was out here all alone.

Suddenly I heard the bushes behind me ruffle, I quickly looked back with my heartbeat growing already. Nothing was there when I looked at the bushes behind me, but I had a feeling that whatever made that sound was still close by. I must be dreaming.

My eyes frantically scanned my surroundings over and over again. I could hardly see anything, all I heard right about now was the winds and leaves against the ground. By now I was starting to believe that I was hearing things.

Was even awake? Am I asleep? Am I dreaming?

These questions were just swirling in my head. I mean I was just by an abandoned hospital and out of nowhere ended up in this strange place, was chased by maniacs and now I'm hearing things.

"I think I just need to sit", I said to myself.

I sat on the ground all tied up in my thoughts, I felt like I was going mad by the second. I looked down at my throbbing leg and saw that it was bleeding profusely despite the shirt being tied around it. My head felt so light and I just wanted to sleep. My vision began to blur and black dots was all I saw. I knew I was about to pass out but I didn't want to, I was fed up of not knowing what was going on around me. I tried to open my eyes wider, but my eyelids felt heavy.

I tried to move my arms but with every little movement, it made my head hurt even more than it already was. This is not a dream I thought to myself, I felt every little inch of pain, this was indeed real.

I just wanted to go home and take a good rest in my comfortable bed.

But I could never, my life just had to be exciting in every way.

The pain just increased every minute. I screamed in agony; I couldn't take it anymore so I just welcomed the darkness not fighting to stay awake any longer.

My eyes fluttered open only to notice that I wasn't in the forest anymore I was in a dark area, and I couldn't see anything. When I watched where my wound was on my leg, I saw that it was cleaned up and rapped in new cloth, it wasn't the best but it secured my leg and the bleeding better than the last bandage did.

I sat up not being able to get up because my leg still hurt, but not as much as it did before.

"Hello"

"Helloooo" I Shouted, trying to see who was there because I knew my leg wasn't just magically bandaged up.

When I listened closely, I heard footsteps from behind me, my head swung to the back only to see Xander approaching.

"Where did you come from," I said in his direction as he was now right in front of me.

"I just jumped from the building and just so you know I end up here in this forest instead of hitting the floor at the bottom of the building."

"Where are the rest," I replied, hoping that he knew where they were.

"I don't know, when I came here, I was alone. So, I don't know what happened to the others."

I sighed in disappointment not knowing what to do.

"So, what's the plan now?" I asked Xander since he was experienced in these kinds of situations.

"I don't know we might just have to wait it out here because if the others were looking for us they might never be able to find us if we keep moving around like this"

I nodded in understanding at his reply.

"Thank you for changing my bandage, "I said, watching him thankfully.

"I'd do it for anyone," he said sternly.

Damn. That was a Hella quick mood change.

I now got to watch him properly since the sun had risen. He was bareback. He was quite toned and had an eight pack. I don't know how I wasn't drooling right now. I hope it wasn't evident that I was staring I quickly thought to myself.

He better not say that horrible cliché line.

Don't say it

Please don't say it

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." His deep gruff voice muttered.

There it is.

Ladies and gents, he said it.

I'm sure by now I was ready to burst like a watermelon with 1,000 rubberbands around it. Yes, I was blushing that hard. I bent my head down not wanting him to see the embarrassment written all over my face. I just hoped we would get out of here quickly.
