Brooklyn

Tyler said that the building was only 10 minutes away from his cabin so we decided to walk. After a while, the hospital came into view, to say the least, it was disgusting. Moss and grime covered the entire building and vines were wrapped securely around it.

"This is extremely revolting if I knew this was what I was getting myself into I would have just left, no questions asked."

I immediately rolled my eyes at Xiomara's comment, why did she have to complain all the time I thought to myself. But hey she knows big words, biggest accomplishment I've ever seen since she got a c-... in the easiest subject of all, English A.

"Would you just stop, if you want to leave you can, no one's stopping you." Lucas retorted seeming quite annoyed by Xiomara.

Xiomara folded her arm clenched her jaw in irritation and anger because of the way Lucas spoke to her. Despite Lucas talking to her like that in no time I'm sure she'll be clinging on to him forgetting he ever said that.

By now we were right in front of the building and I smelled the lewdest aroma ever. It smelt like something died around here. I'm guessing that everyone else smelt it too because they were trying to block the smell by putting them shirts over their nose. It smelled like a Rafflesia Arnoldii. Hm, I wonder if it has one nearby?

"What on earth is that scent"

"I have absolutely no idea," Lucas said answering Tyler's question.

The hospital didn't have a door, it looked like wood was nailed to the entrance instead, but since the hospital was here a while now the wood was rotting and there was a hole in it. It wasn't a very small hole but you could maybe go through it by crawling.

"The only way we are getting through that is by crawling through and who knows what's behind that door."

All we had to do was watch Tyler tell him that he had to go in first, he was the one who wanted us to come here in the first place. Tyler just sighed knowing what he had to do. He took a deep breath and stooped down to crawl through the hole, as he crawled through the hole completely, he shouted for us to crawl in now. One by one we crawled through the hole and in the building.

Cobwebs were all over. There was barely anything in the area we were in, they probably took out almost everything from the hospital. The lights were flickering on and off giving a bad vibe and you could hear mice crawling all around the room. I shivered just thinking about it.

"I think we should just turn around and go back to the cabin where we are sure that it's safe," Xiomara mumbled.

At that very moment, we heard a loud BANG! The noise sounded like it came from right above us. Everyone jumped in fright. It was as if our souls left our bodies. We all turned pale white. Tyler rushed to the door to check if it was open but it was sealed shut.

The taught that someone else could have been in the midst of us haunted me. Why couldn't we be in a kitchen with cookies or maybe pizza or endless amounts of candy? Why does it have to be in an abandoned building, where we are probably not alone and there could be someone among us that is also after the money that supposedly supposed to be in this building.

"WE HAVE NO CELL SERVICE!!!!" Xiomara shouted.

"How are we supposed to call for help if something happens? Does this mean that if we get killed no one will know? Oh my god. We're all going to die. This is it."

I was having a mini panic attack. Beads of sweat collected on my forehead as I struggled to breathe. She was having a mental breakdown. I was having a panic attack.

"Hey, hey we're going to be okay. No one's going to die. I promise, now stop overreacting and get yourself together Brooke."

Tyler hugged me and I felt safe in his arms. He always seemed to comfort me when I needed it the most. I watched as Xiomara just rolled her eyes.

"Such a drama queen"

" You're one to talk." I retorted eyeing her up and down.

" You guys Xiomara's right let us just get the hell out of here. "Lucas said.

"There's no turning back now," I muttered quietly as I pointed at the hole we crawled through.

It was now blocked by a heap of large rocks.

"How and when on earth did that even get there"

I wish I could answer Tyler but I had no idea either. Those rocks just came out of nowhere. Now we are stuck, just great.
