I Groaned at the uncomfortable posture I was in switching sides however I now came to realize that I was on the ground laying on rocks rather than the comfortable bed I adored at home. I opened my eyes adjusting to the light and stretched my arms due to the unnatural position I was in.

I had forgotten that the bandage on my feet was now one because the river swept it away. I looked down at my recently injured leg and saw that it was healed and there wasn't even a mark or scar left. I placed my fingers where the wound was and traced my skin. There wasn't even a bump, a scratch nor a scar left. It looked like new skin.

How could that even happen, this wound would have at least taken weeks to heal. I simply ignored the questions swarming my head because there were better things to be focusing on right now but all I could say to myself was "my body different".

Today was a new day and I was definitely prepared to leave this cave. I walked to the entrance of the cave and looked around, there was no sight of Xander or Lucas. Did those scumbags leave me? Because if they did, I'll find them and beat some sense into them.

I knew that Lucas tried to comfort me yesterday and he was nice but you could never be too careful, for all I know he was just playing me and as for Xander he was just ignorant and only cared about himself, he annoys me to the fullest degree.

Just as I was about to set off to look for them, I saw them both coming out of the forest with fish in their hand. They both were bareback and soaking wet.

Good thing they caught food because I was hungry enough to eat an entire pizza. Even though it was fish and I wasn't too fond of fish, it was still something. They also had a lot of twigs; I'm guessing to cook the fish.

"How did you sleep?"

I was startled by Xander's question mostly because he has never really talked to me before. Except for when he called me annoying and when he found me in the forest.

"It was fine except for rocks poking me in every corner I turn."

He let out a small smile at my answer which in turn made me smile also. I noticed that Lucas was watching me but he quickly peeled his eyes away when I made contact with his.

Immediately after we had finished eating, we decided that staying cooped up in this cave wasn't going to help us get out of the situation we were in right now hence why we settled on trying to see if there was anything beyond all this forest.

We were just about 10 minutes away from the cave when we heard people calling our names, all three of us watched each other knowing whose voices they were. We then proceeded to call out Xiomara, Tyler, and Yori's name following the sound of their voices. In no time we spotted them together. Yori and Tyler's arms were around Xiomara's trying to hold her up.

We decided to skip the small talk on how we all got here because not one of us could explain it.

"What happened to her leg." Xander inquired

"She got bitten by a snake no big deal, it's not even poisonous," Yori exclaimed.

I internally laughed wondering since when Yori was this outgoing. Trust me that snake should have just eaten Xiomara alive after that stunt she pulled on top the building, she tried to get rid of me but I wasn't going down alone. If only she wasn't hurt, I would have tackled her right here right now, no questions asked.

Xander inspected the snake bite she had on her foot and confirmed that I was not poisonous and the swelling would go down soon. I could see that Xiomara was relieved to hear that it wasn't poisonous.

We all didn't want to stay here so we went with the original plan to see if there were people out there that could help us get out of here and go back home. Just when we were about to leave the area a large army of people came swarming towards us with guns pointed. My heartbeat sky rocketed and my heart pounded hard against my chest.

None of us knew what was going on. We all stood there putting our hands up not wanting them to shoot at us. The men were fully dressed in black with armor all over their body, the only open part was their face. The one who was in front looked like he was the leader of the group. I took a glance at Xander and he was livid maybe because he couldn't stop anything that was happening right now, he was outnumbered.

"Each one of you put your hands behind your back and don't move if anyone even moves an inch you will be shot!"

I couldn't breathe, my heart was racing and all I wanted to do was curl up in a ball and shut myself away from everything. One man each came behind us and held our hands tightly behind us.

The men carried us at east 10 miles from the area we were last and right in front of us was a massive building staring at us. My mouth hung open in awe at how large the building was.

As we neared the entrance some guards opened the door for us. We were brought to a huge room inside of the building and was told to wait here until further notice. There were six other people in the room with us and I had no idea who they were or why they were here.

At the moment I was standing next to Yori.

"What in tarnation is going on," she whispered in my ears.

"I have no idea"

The group of people opposed to us just stared at us not muttering a word. We all stayed quiet not knowing what to say or do, we were both terrified and confused at the same time. The other people in the room however looked calm and collected, they looked at us in disgust. I didn't know why until I stared at my clothes noticing how dirty and worn out it was.

The door was suddenly swung open and a tall middle-aged woman with black hair walked through the door wearing a red dress and two bodyguards stood beside with guns in their pocket and the same black armor on their bodies like the ones we first met in the forest.
