We both sat down on the bench again, and Becca immediately opened the bottle of vodka and took a sip.

"Wow... I don't think I've ever felt this alive before" I said coming to the realization. Becca chuckled beside me.

"I mean it! I know what we just did was wrong, so why does it feel so good?" I said. Becca just laughed at me again.

"I know right?" she said and handed me the bottle.

"You've stole something before?" I asked her.

She just nodded. I decided not to ask any further questions and took a sip of the vodka instead, but as soon as it touched my tongue, I regretted it. I spat it out and coughed. It felt like my throat was on fire.

"Who would enjoy that?!" I yelled as I spat again. Becca was laughing harder at me this time.

"You just have to take another sip, trust me, you'll like it" she said and put a hand on my knee.

"No way, I'm not drinking that again" I said and handed her the bottle.

"Just take another sip, it won't be as bad. You just got to get used to it." she said looking into my eyes.

I sighed and looked down at the bottle, my throat was still burning.

Without thinking I took yet another sip of it. I swallowed it this time, but it still burnt my throat like crazy.

"Argh, it burns" I said and stuck my tongue out trying to somehow cool it down.

"But you got it down this time" Becca said and smiled.

She grabbed the bottle out of my hands and drank from it. I did not understand how she could enjoy that.

We sat in silence for a while just looking out at the water and the many stars. The vodka bottle was passing between us and more and more of it was disappearing. I didn't like the taste of it, but something about the strong burn was addicting. It was strange.

My head was spinning a lot and my body felt weird. I had never felt like this before. I looked over at Becca who was sitting crossed legged and staring out at the view. She had a worried look on her face, and it came to my realization that every time I looked at her without her knowing, she had that look on her face.

But she looked beautiful. Man, was she beautiful. I had never seen or met a girl like her.

I could feel those familiar butterflies in my stomach again, only this time they were about a hundred times stronger.

I suddenly felt a strong urge to lean over and kiss her, just because I wanted to. But before I was about to do so, she spoke.

"Man, I just don't believe it" she said very quietly.

"What?" I asked.

"I don't believe that you only listen to radio songs" she said and looked at me. I was confused.

"I mean, I just don't believe it! There must be at least one band that you like more than the others, or a song that you like. You can't just listen to whatever's popular. I don't believe that" Becca ranted on and I couldn't help but laugh a little.

I looked out onto the water trying to think of a band and then it came to me.

"I really like The Fray" I said. As soon as the words left my mouth, I saw her whole face light up.

"I love The Fray!" she yelled and hit my shoulder.

"That's awesome! What's your favorite song by them?" she asked.

"Uh..." I said trying to think of my favorite song.

"What's that one song called..." I couldn't remember the title, so I just started to hymn it.

"Are you kidding! That's my favorite too!" Becca yelled even more excitedly, and she started to sing it.

"Step one you say we need to talk; he walks you say sit down it's just a talk" she sang, and I laughed.

I joined her singing and we sat like two crazy people on a bench, singing in the middle of the night. But it felt amazing.

We looked each other in the eyes as we came to the loud part, and we both screamed it.

"WHERE DID I GO WRONG, I LOST A FRIEND SOMEWHERE ALONG..." we both burst into laughter. I was crying tears, unable to stop laughing.

"Oh god no... it's such a sad song" she said and we both laughed even harder. We laughed for way to long and we just couldn't stop.

"We are so drunk" Becca said and laughed even more.
