"Thank you dad!" I squeal, as he takes down the cloth that he nailed to wall of the window.

"Don't thank me yet. I don't want to catch you doing anything your not supposed to, okay?"

I nod and hug him tightly. He just rolls his eyes and laughs at my childish behavior. He grabs his tool box and leaves me while I stare out the window.

I don't know what it is, but I'm just obsessed with the outdoors. Something about being outside makes me think about where humans would live if houses weren't created. It makes me think about how connected we would be to nature and how much we'd probably appreciate the planet more of we lived...in it..you get me?..

I stare out the window and instantly get mesmerized by the calmness. I reach out to open the window but remember that it's locked. Ugh! What I wouldn't kill for a bit of fresh air from time to time. But noooo, 'air is dangerous'.

You know, I'm pretty sure it isn't healthy staying in doors all the time. So, me sneaking out could be looked at as me trying to look after my health.

I wish there was a way for me to communicate with Feb. It would be easier for him to come to me than me going to him every night.

-------------------------------------

Sometime in the night,

I toss and turn throughout the night trying to find a comfortable position, but I can't help but feel like I'm in 'The Princess and the Pea' fairy tale.

I drift off for a couple minutes, when I feel something causing  goosebumps to arise from their hiding place. It feels cold and odd. I turn my body (still asleep) to face the window and I slowly open my eyes.

A pair of coral green eyes shoot straight at me causing me to jolt my eyes fully open. I notice that the strange feeling I was getting was wind coming from the opened window.

February sits a few inches from me sitting on my desk chair, his elbows on his knees. I look at him with complete and utter shock.

He just watches me and doesn't say anything, making the air seem thick and tense.

"What are you doing here?" I finally whisper.

"You want me to go?" he smirks.

He straightens up and crosses his arms, slouching into my chair.

"No...how long have you been sitting there?" I ask

He looks at the imaginary watch on his wrist and shrugs, "Awhile...I wanted to go on an adventure," he jokes.

"And your window, it's not covered anymore," he points out the obvious.

He looks back at the window and I eye it too. Why is he acting so weird tonight? After our date I thought he'd act more...well I don't know to be honest..more lovey-dovey. Not that we're in love...

He looks back at me and sits opposite me on my bed, "You want to know the real reason I came?" he whispers.

I hesitate for a moment before nodding.

"I..eh..it was getting kinda lonely back at my place..and I was wondering if..we could hang out,"he explains.

I look at him and a small smile creeps onto my face. It's kinda cute how he got lonely..and he came to me. I nod me head and move over making space for him to come in.
