Alex's POV
My eyes jolt open as I feel the bed I'm laying on bounce up and down. I look up and see June's beautiful blue eyes beaming at me.
"Time to get up!" she sings, bouncing on the bed again. I groan loudly and hide my head under her pillow.
I still feel awful that she had to sleep on the carpet but she insisted that I should get her bed. The covers were so soft and warm like a cocoon. Just the thought of getting up sent shivers through me.
I didn't know if I was supposed to sleep in Feb's room or not. I didn't ask, I didn't want to make it awkward.
"Five more minutes," I plead with my voice muffled.
"Feb's waiting for you, he wants to take you to see the Elders."
I immediately sit up and face her, my eyes full of fear. This is the day, the dreaded day. I couldn't help but feel as if something bad was going to happen.
"Don't worry though, you'll be fine."
I stare into space and nod slowly repeating her words in my mind. She's right! I will be fine! Nothing bad's every gonna happen as long as Feb's there.
I jump out of bed and grab my clothes from yesterday...which are just my pajamas.
"Don't tell my you're wearing those," she says in disgust.
"I don't have anything else."
She has a horrified expression still on her face and I bite down on my lip to stop myself from laughing.
"No honey no, follow me."
I do as she says and follow her to a wardrobe near the bedroom door. As soon as she opens it I gasp. Blues of different shades are all lined up on hangers.
Blue jeans, blue tops, blue dresses, wow she really likes blue. Everyone is so colour coordinated with their month.
"What about this?" she smiles pulling out a royal blue mini dress with long sleeves.
"Isn't that a little too formal?"
She sighs and hangs it back up, "So you want casual?...I can do that," She rummages around some more and pulls out a replica of the blue outfit she has on.
Sky blue shorts and a pastel blue crop top. I laugh at her choice making her pout.
"What? It's cute."
"Nothing, it is cute..it's just...we're gonna look like twins," I chuckle.
She looks down at her outfit and blushes, "Oops haha, my bad."
