All I have to say is...enjoy <3 😊

Alex's POV
This is the day. The day that I've been dreading all night long.
I still don't know whether or not to cry or laugh. I wish I could just lay here and pretend like I don't have anywhere to be.
"Sweetie, you up?" mum asks, knocking on my door. I groan as she walks in and makes her way over to my bed.
"Your English teacher called. She said your giving a speech today."
"Yeah, I guess I am," I sigh.
She notices my tone and becomes concerned, "I thought you'd be more excited."
"I just...I don't know if my speech is... good enough."
She looks at me with a comforting smile, as always. She sits beside me on my bed her hands in mine, interlocking our fingers.
She always knows exactly how to make me feel better when I need it. She kisses my forehead and I close my eyes as she does.
"You will be fine," she whispers, "I love you. Now get dressed," she chuckles.
I roll my eyes playfully and hop out of bed.
Mum leaves my room, allowing me to get ready in peace. What should I wear? Something suffisticating most definitely.
"Hey mum! Can I borrow something out of your closet?" I yell, my voice filling up the house.
"Of course, just don't make a mess!"
I smile and shout back thanking her and make my way to the bathroom to relieve my body from stress with a shower.
After I've washed everywhere and brushed my wet hair, I wrap my body in a towel and head to mum's room.
I open the doors of her closet and look around for something...smart looking. I have to take this seriously, it is serious.
Her closet has tons and tons of greys and browns. Lots of suits too, she is a lawyer after all.
I pick out a light grey blazer with a matching grey pencil skirt. I grab a white shirt to go under the blazer.
I take a parent of black flats as well.
