 Becca's POV

I wake up feeling a lot better and look over to see Jimmy sitting in the chair next to my bed. I can't believe he actually came to see me. He looks a little bothered though. Brian's not in the room, so maybe he forced Jimmy to be in here with me by himself.

“Hey, Jim.”

He looks over and smiles widely at me. That's odd.

“Becca! How're you feeling?”

“Better.”

“Good. Look, I have something to tell you.”

Oh no. He's gonna say something to me again. He must see the look on my face because he sighs.

“It's not what you think.”

“Well, what do you want to say?”

“You were right.”

“About?”

“Amber.”

I just nod. Don't say a word. I feel him grab my hand, so I look at him.

“Look I'm sorry okay? I didn't realize how she was until Brian actually got me to see. It didn't hit me that I spent ten grand on her in two months until I actually said it aloud.”

“Jesus Christ, ten grand?”

“Yeah,” he sighs.

I squeeze his hand gently and smile.

“Don't worry. Just take everything you got her back and tell her you're not spending another penny on her.”

“I'm not going to because I dumped her.”

“What?”

He nods.

“I'm not going to date someone that only wants me for my money. If I had known that she was like that, I wouldn't have asked her out.”

“Oh.”

He leans over and presses a kiss to my cheek.

“I'm sorry about everything I said to you. I didn't mean it. I obviously must have feelings for you because when I'm drunk I do the things that I keep myself from doing when I'm sober. When we first left for this tour I couldn't stop thinking about you.”

I smile, biting my lip.

“Really?”

He nods. That's the last thing I expected to come from him. Will any good come from this? I hope so.
