"Thank you for helping with my mom," I told him as he looked at me, "it's not trouble..." he said as my dad walked past, "hey...five feet apart..." he spoke as Newt took a few steps back "s-sorry sir..." he looked down, avoiding eye contact with my dad, "dad...you do realize I'm an adult and I can have boyfriends right?" I asked my father, "doesn't matter...you're still my little girl..." dad gave me a kiss on the forehead, "dad!" I grew embarrassed, then dad looked at Newt, "you're not sleeping in her room with her...not under my roof" he added as I rolled my eyes, "oh! It's fine, I can sleep in my case...I-I have a hammock I can sleep on...I've got to feed my creatures anyway..." Newt spoke still not looking my father in the eye, "can you...Y/n what's wrong with me?" dad looked at me, "what?" I cocked my head to the side, "he won't look me in the eye...", "oh I'm sorry dad...it's not his fault your intimidating..." I sighed as I ran my fingers through my hair. "Dinner!" my brother/sisters wife/husband shouted, all of us walked into the kitchen, grabbed some food, and began to eat at the dining room table. "I'll go take this to mom..." I said as I picked up some food and walked to my mom's room.

I set the food on the bedside table and then sat on the bed. "Hey Y/n..." mom spoke as I looked at her, "do the thing..." she smiled as I giggled and pulled out my wand. I looked over at the door and saw Newt standing there with a confused look on his face, I gave him a warming smile, and he returned the smile. "Expecto Patronum" I waved my wand and my Patronus raced around the room which brought a smile to my mothers face, "she loves it when I show off my Patronus," I told Newt as mom began to eat. "All right...if you need me mom...just yell okay?" I told her as she nodded. I left the room, I went upstairs to my room and sighed as I lay back on my bed. "I-I've got the feeling that your father doesn't like me very much..." Newt sat beside me on the bed, I put my head on his lap and smiled. "Does any father like their daughter's boyfriend?" I cocked my head to the side, "no...I suppose not..." he ran his fingers through my hair, "aunt Y/n..." I heard a small voice, I sat up, looked over at my niece and saw she was ready for bed. "Right! Bedtime story" I said as I got up. I walked over to her, picked her up, and went to her room.

I put her in bed, pulled out my wand and used it to tell the story of a Unicorn. She fell right to sleep. I got up, went back to my room and saw Newt wasn't there. 'Must be in his case ready for bed...or feeding the creatures' I smiled to myself as my dad walked in, "where's your boyfriend?" he asked as I pointed at Newt's case, "okay...uh. His case can stay in here...so long as he doesn't come out and sleep with you" he spoke as I chuckled, "goodnight dad..." I told him as he closed the door and I changed. I then opened his case, climbed down into it and closed it behind me. I walked through the first room and saw he was laying on his hammock reading something, "whatcha reading handsome?" I asked as he jumped and closed the book. "Y/n...I uh...nothing" he said as I giggled at his awkwardness, "really? Accio..." I used my wand to get his book, "that's cheating..." he spoke as I smiled and looked at the title. "To Trap a Kiss?" I cocked my head to the side, "it's m-mostly poetry..." he blushed as I giggled, I opened it to the page he was one,

"How does Love speak?
In the faint flush upon the telltale cheek,
And in the pallor that succeeds it; by
The quivering lid of an averted eye--
The smile that proves the parent to a sigh
Thus doth Love speak.

How does Love speak?
By the uneven heart-throbs, and the freak
Of bounding pulses that stand still and ache,
While new emotions, like strange barges, make
Along vein-channels their disturbing course;
Still as the dawn, and with the dawn's swift force--
Thus doth Love speak.

How does Love speak?
In the avoidance of that which we seek--
The sudden silence and reserve when near--
The eye that glistens with an unshed tear--
The joy that seems the counterpart of fear,
As the alarmed heart leaps in the breast,
And knows, and names, and greets its godlike guest--
Thus doth Love speak.

How does Love speak?
In the proud spirit suddenly grown meek--
The haughty heart grown humble; in the tender
And unnamed light that floods the world with splendor;
In the resemblance which the fond eyes trace
In all fair things to one beloved face;
In the shy touch of hands that thrill and tremble;
In looks and lips that can no more dissemble--
Thus doth Love speak.

How does Love speak?
In the wild words that uttered seem so weak
They shrink ashamed in silence; in the fire
Glance strikes with glance, swift flashing high and higher,
Like lightnings that precede the mighty storm;
In the deep, soulful stillness; in the warm,
Impassioned tide that sweeps through throbbing veins,
Between the shores of keen delights and pains;
In the embrace where madness melts in bliss,
And in the convulsive rapture of a kiss--
Thus doth Love speak." I read as I circled him, he chuckled and then took the book from me, "My favorite one is Simple Things..." he told me as he turned the page, "I know it by heart..." he whispered as I smiled and then took the book again, I kept it behind me, and kissed his nose. "Then repeat it to me..." I whispered as he smiled.

"It is not your conversation
That keeps me entertained
But rather the way you look at me
That makes me feel sustained
It's the curve of your lips
And the curl of your hair
T'is all of the little things
That make me stop and stare

It is not your intelligence
That drew me close to you
It is not your sense of humour
That has thrown me all askew
It's the touch of your hand
And the thoughts in your head
T'is all of the little things
The things that don't get said

It's not your vivid history
That's made me fall in love
It's not your comprehension
Of the world or what's above
It is your soft temperament
And the way you smile at me
T'is all of the little things
That make me want to see

It's not when we are talking
That I want to know some more
It is not whilst you teach me
I learn what I'm looking for
It is the time we spend alone
And the time in utter silence
T'is all of the little things
That form a strong alliance

It's not the job you work so hard
That shows your true commitment
It's not your crazy habits
That give me great fulfillment
It is the way you use your hands
And the way I have been chosen
T'is all of the little things
Why I know silence is golden" he whispered as I dropped the book behind me and then pulled him down for a passionate kiss.
