Shadow Heart Part 2

Soft....why so soft...and warm...to warm, but comfortable.... You struggled with your thoughts in deep sleep, you could hear a steady heart bit, but it was to fast to be a humans heart. You opened your eyes slowly, black fur...its so soft, you trailed your hands trough the black pelt petting it gently, for some reason you didn't feel alarm at all but when you looked up , you saw something huge with red eyes was looking at you, like a big head, your eyes focused as you noticed a black panther face was staring at you...Shadow.., you said drowsy,you sat up trying to clear your head, Where am i? .

"Your awake" came a smooth voice, you looked up to see V walking towards you with Griffon flying behind him , circling where you were sitting "aa I see the sleeping beauty  has finally awoken" Griffon said laughing " And you didn't even get the chance to kiss her haha" 

"Silence !" V growled at Griffon this bird is really asking for a beating, but luckily you were to drowsy to notice his silly babbling. V sat on a rock, you tried to stand but you fell back, staggering "Jeez Dante, how hard did you knock me" you said as your head still felt drowsy, your body started falling backward, V quickly grabbed your hand and pulled you back up, holding you to his chest, your head automatically fell forward, your left cheek pressed against him.

"V.. please stay... like this ...for a moment" you said as your head started to clear and you felt your legs gaining strength again, but realising how close you were you looked up at him, your (E/C) orbs locking on with gray blueish ones. You quickly stepped back releasing your hold on his jacket "Thanx" you said shyly trying to hide your burning red face, V just chuckled and leaned against a fallen tree " We should regroup with Nero, our fight isn't over yet" V pointed his silver cane to the demon tree. "O .. yea that" you forgot about that, Dam you were surprised that knock Dante gave you was so hard you felt turned around but you shook your head, you were stronger than that so you just shook it off and made your way to find a phone or something to contact Nico with, but you felt V stop walking, you turned to face him "V, you coming? you asked bit confused. V thought for a moment and said "There is something I must do first, there might be still a change to win this before time runs out " without other word V left, leaving you to wonder what could he be talking about, so you turned swiftly and made your way to a red phone, you saw in the distance.

You dailled Nico's Number, it rang twice before you heard " Its about freaken time, (Y/N) everyone was starting to get worried, you didn't come out the tree with Nero" Nico's voice rang with worry " Am sorry I was knocked out pretty good, you think you can make it here?"You asked as you looked around seeing the roads are blocked by the tree roots that's spreading across the city "Girl there no place I cant go, be there in a few" Nico said and hung up. You waited a few minutes, the heard loud music in the distance, it became louder as it neared, A van crashed through the windows of a shop, Nico's head popping out the drivers window as she patted against the door with her hand "AY You coming or What?"

"Yea yea" you answered and jumped in, Nico was really a good friend to have around, she always made these amazing weapons that aided Nero due to the loss of his arm, and was always fun to hang around sometimes the two of you would even go on missions when she isn't with Nero. The two of you grew a sisterly bond which you treasured because you had no one, no family nothing, it was just you, until you discovered your talent for destroying demons and having excellent handling when it comes to weaponry , you sometimes wondered where the hell did you come from?. Nico always wanted you to test out her new weapons, because she knows you can handle it without destroying it like Nero always does.

You leaned back against the chair in the back of the van near the jukebox, relaxing your aching body, a feeling in your heart started to rise, You wondered about V and where he was, you felt like you should have gone with him. A blush started to tint your face when you remembered the closeness of his body pressed up against yours, You groaned in frustration

"What are you up to V?"
