Demon Desire Part 10

The battle on top the Qliphoth tree still went on as Nero and Vergil gave it them all, Dante was out for the count for now taking a nap on the side lines to exhausted to fight so they agreed If Vergil wins Nero that meant he wins Dante but Nero wasn't bothered by this petty rivalry he just wanted them to stop fighting. Luckily they came to some sort of agreement that the demon tree is more important than fighting each other right now so they decided to settle this afterwards.

Vergil had a quick look around, he didn't see any trace of you, this made him bit unsettled. But like the cold hearted demon he is , he didn't show his concern as he and Dante walked to the edge and turned to face Nero. Nero was still upset about the whole thing and wanted to settles things now but Dante and Vergil paid him no attention "Kid you should stay here" Dante said but Nero wouldn't hear of it " like hell I am, am not going let you guys go of killing each other" Nero yelled but was cut off by Dante "you are the only one we got left if things doesn't work out and besides you will just get in the way" Dante joked and jumped of he edge, Vergil turned around holding the book he carried with him all this time " here" Vergil said and threw the book to Nero's feet "Hold on to that" he said jumping over the edge as well.

Later..

You were gasping for air, your lungs felt like they were on fire shit shit maybe this wasn't such a good idea, mentally slapping yourself you tired to calm down and catch your breath when the rock you were hiding behind was destroyed by a fire ball. You rolled and got back on your feet, this area was like a fast wasteland, nothing but ash like lands covered with stones and boulders. Even the sky was red with black mist. You ran as fast as your legs could carry you, in your exhausted state you were sure they are going to give in any minute but a glance back over your shoulder send adrenaline pumping through your body as you saw the hordes of demons after you , bugs and hell bats mixed together, this was to much.

It was like landing in the hornets nest but as you ran , you saw something in the distance, it looked like ruins from a building. Jumping through the window you landed with a thud on the floor quickly grabbing your gun and fired a shot through a demons head, killing it instantly and blocking the open window with its dead body but the demon bugs were persistent, eating away at their own dead breaking though. You jumped up and ran upstairs as the horde drove you to the roof top, trapped you turned around as demons climbed up against the wall, completely swarming the wrecked building.

An odd smell irritated your nose as you took a glance to your left and saw natural gas escaping through the holes in the roof, your eyes widen in realisation that this whole building can act like a bomb. Grinning to your self, A red queen forced herself through the horde screeching at you as if saying am eating you first. "Come at me you ugly bitch" you taunted focusing what little demonic power you had into your gun. The queen charged at you but you spun around and used one of the normal demon bugs as steps, jumping of the roof, you turned in mid air, aiming for the gas leak and shot it.

!!BANG!!

The entire building exploded burning every demon in range, the blast was so strong you were even knocked back in mid air, your body hit the ground making you roll a few meters Ow that's gone hurt tomorrow, you thought as your body ached, you breathed heavily as you watched the fire burn them all but your victory was short lived when the Bug queen appeared, engulf in flames she charged at you again. aw man you got to be kidding, you couldn't move much less lift your sword. But before the queen could slice you with a claw, you felt someone grab your body lifting you up with such swiftness as the claw came down. You opened your eyes and couldn't believe what you were seeing...

"Vergil.." his name escaped your lips with a whisper, with one swift move the queen was on the ground lifeless. But he still held your body to his, tightening his grip but he soon relaxed and let you go but you refused to and still held onto his jacket. He lifted your chin up with a thump, you saw a cold expression, his eyes looking at you sternly "Don't be so foolish as to just run into battle while your weak" came his cold smooth voice, a blush appeared on your cheeks you couldn't believe it, he was actually worried about you. You just buried your face into his chest, breathing his scent. "(Y/N), don't do such reckless things without thinking first" his voice was softer as he gently stroked your hair, a gentle purr was made deep in your chest as your demon side purrred with satisfaction. 

You looked up at his stern face and smiled a genuine smile that made him blush and look away, clearing his throat he let go of you and turned to walk the other way "Come" was all he said and you were glad to follow.

Reaching a hill, you saw Dante sitting on a boulder swinging his guns in his hands, seeing the bodies of bug demons littering the ground. "(Y/N) we were wondering where you disappeared to, mister serious over there was pretty worried" Dante laughed mocking him "Shut up Dante" came a growl from Vergil. But Dante paid him no attention and slapped his brother playfully on the shoulder and almost got kicked for it.

 "What do we do now?" you asked staring at the twins, Dante wanted to say lets go on fighting but Vergil cut him off "It would be of no use if we continue in our states, we don't have the energy, so it would be foolish" You thought for a moment, that's true, its better to retreat for now and come up with a better plan than just charging in blindly. "No way am going" Dante said stubbornly, walking towards the horde of demons heading your way. "Yes you are" Vergil grabbed Dante's collar, dragging him away from the horde. "Come on Verg , we can take them on"But Vergil ignored him making his way to the exist "Fine, I'll just eat your share " Vergil yelled back. The mention of food made Dante's stomach growl, so he sighed and followed Vergil with you behind him laughing.

Note: I decided to go on even after we don't know what happens after Dante and Vergil arrived in the demon world cause that's were the game ends, am just gone go on with the flow of the story making it up as i go hahaXD
