Crimson Devil Part 18

"Time to knock some sense into you" Dante grabbed hold of the Rebellion, sliding the sword from his back, pointing the blade at the demon king. Trish and Lady got into position as well, reading themselves for whatever this demon had to throw at them. Without a signal all three charged at Urizen, you stepped back into the shadows, a red glow emanating from the crystal as you vanished, not running just staying out the way and observing. You didn't have the strength to fight this powerful demon. You watched as Dante pulled out the sickest moves, making your heart skip a beat. You teared your eyes away from Dante to observe the two women fighting alongside him. The one with short brown locks and unmatched eyes is called Lady..why? you don't know, its strange just like her eyes. She had a slim body and doesn't seem to love wearing a bra, but her white T shirt, black pants and boots hugged her body snugly. Her weapon was something that interest you, it was one bad ass rocket launcher with a blade on the underside, it looked heavy but she seems to be handling it with ease, she acted as range, attacking from far repeatedly sending multiple rockets as Urizen making everything it hit go boom.

Your eyes travelled to the blond hair, she had a beautiful face and good looking body, wearing a black corset and tight leather pants with matching boots. You were sure she wasn't human due to her ability to attack with electricity and having incredible strength like Dante, swinging a big sword as if it it were made of feathers. You laughed awkwardly I never want to get into a fight with these ladies. But then you noticed something, Urizen wasn't moving a muscle, all he did was controlling a floating crystal that acted as defence and attack. 

Dante growled in frustration, getting near him is impossible dammit. With one wave of Urizen's hand Trish and Lady was knocked back against the wall, Dante gripped the hilt of his blade even tighter and tried a trickster attack by dodging the demon king's attacks, closing the gap Urizen could catch him as Dante took a change and dodged again to appear right in his face, swinging his blade at Urizen's head but his blade didn't even make him bleed as the demon king evil laughter fulled the chamber and grabbed Dante with a giant claw like hand throwing his body like a rag doll. You gasped as your hand covered your mouth, this was the first time you saw Dante defeated. You felt anger rise in you chest making the pendant glow brighter as you your were locked on Urizen, he was lowering his guard, laughing evilly.

Fazing through the shadows, you gripped your blade and unsheathed it. Your blade might not be a mighty sword but it had a nasty bite, the tip was in laced with deadly poison that can be fatal even to a demon if let untreated. You found your opening like a shadow blur you appeared above the demon king's head and aimed for the back of his neck but before your blade could penetrate, your whole body froze in mid air. Urizen's dark laughter echoed through out the chamber. "Foolish mortal" Urizen's dark voice send a cold shiver down your spine, you tried struggling but it was no use. With a wave of his hand it send you flying across the room, your body hitting the ground hard, suddenly you heard a voice coming from behind you.

It was the young man with the short white hair and he wasn't alone another man was wit him with raven hair and a body covered with tattoos, walking with a silver cane "Ay didn't your mother ever tell you not to steal" He mocked, placing a hand on his other arm, you realised his arm was robotic. Dante tried to convince him that the demon was to powerful but the kid didn't want to hear it, charging head on Dante yelled "Nero!". But the outcome was the same, Nero was close so collapsing but with a last resort Trish threw her blade to Dante, catching it with one hand, he charged again but this time he triggered giving it his all this time.

Dante's blade clashed with Urizen Dante looked back and shouted for Nero to get out of here as the force between Dante and the demon started to collapse the chamber around them as chunks fell from the ceiling blocking the exist but the demon forced Dante back, shattering Rebellion, for that instant Dante's eyes widen in disbelieve,for a moment time stopped as you saw the pieces scatter all across the floor, you picked up a piece cradling it in your hands. The demon king blasted out an energy wave sending Dante through the wall, jumping up you ran and jumped after him, grabbing his body.

Luckily for the both of you it was night, and the city was covered in darkness and fire, creating a lot of dark shadows. Falling through a dark shadow patch on a wall, you were popped out on the other side of the building, Dante's body hit the ground with you landing on top of him. For a moment you were bit dazed but you got your bearings, glancing at Dante who was laying motionless. Uh oh you thought and climbed of him touching his face lightly with your hand "Dante?" but still no replay, getting worried now you slapped his face "DANTE !". His eyes napped open "what happened?" he said weakly sitting up. "You were knocked out"

"Well this ain't over" Dante growled standing up but his legs gave way, you grabbed his arm before he was flat on the ground again "Maybe take a break first, your injured" you said helping him sit on the ground again. He was still holding Rebellion's hilt and sighed letting it drop to his side. Your heart felt a sting of pain seeing him loose something that had a lot of meaning, seeing that pained expression, it made you want to cry but you swallowed back your tears for his sake. 

You took a seat next to him, looking at the stars, hearing the cries of despair in the background, it was a nightmarish night indeed. You felt a pressure on your shoulder as Dante rested his head "am glad your here..(Y/N)" he whispered letting out a breath Dante closed his eyes, burring his face into the warmth in the nape of your neck. Your face redden as you blushed at the contact, your heart was thumping so loud he was sure to hear. You heard him chuckle, "what so funny?" you asked curiously "Your heart is beating faster, could it be you get flustered when your near me?" Dante asked seductively as his nose grazed your neck, you heard him inhale your sweet scent. You looked away embarrassed not sure what to say so you kept quiet biting your bottom lip, you felt his lips touch your skin lightly, his hand snaked up your neck holding your face he turned your face gently. It felt like your heart was going to burst out your chest, he was so close. He closed the gap slowly making this torture as his lips barley touched yours he suddenly passed out leaving you sitting there looking like a sucker fish.

"what the hell.. you idiot" you growled at him wanting to smack him but thought against it, but instead you lightly wiped the white locks from his face hearing a soft snore, you sighed in defeat and close your eyes feeling exhausted from the day's event you gave in to sleep.
