Demon Desire Part 9

Fluttering your eyes open, you gasped for air, the hole in your chest was healing but it burned like hell. You held your hands to your chest just to relief some of the pain but it didn't work as the burn got worse. Your demonic energy was burning the wound close, when u realised that the pain stopped and you could breath again.

sigh

Taking a huge breath, you tried to stand up but your body felt like led, you slumped back down on the ground this is bad if a demon attacks you wont be able to defend yourself . But as you utter the words in your thought, you heard a disgusting hiss from behind you, stretching your neck you saw a bug queen with her fledglings climbing up to investigate the commotion that took place. You looked around where was Vergil? he was nowhere to be seen and your sword was way over there on the opposite side. You reached for your gun but having no energy to use it, it was futile as the bugs came closer, eager to feast on fresh flesh.

Dammit, the queen stood above you and screeched, green spit flaying everywhere as she jumped into the air your eyes closed shut, you would rather not see your death. But nothing happened, you opened one eyes and saw a figure standing above you slicing the demon bug queen in two and making swift work of her fledglings. You breath a sigh of relief but held it again when you saw who was your rescuer.

"Vergil..." came your weak voice as your vision focused on his handsome face. He still had that cold expression as he turned around to face you, holding your sword in his left hand he placed it next to you and with out a word Vergil turned around and walked away. No.. wait  you reached for his cloak and held it making him stop in his tracks. You forced yourself to stand on your shaky legs as you almost fell forward against Vergil back, hugging him from behind. Vergil's body froze from the contact, a slight red tint was almost visible on his face.

"You are one stubborn woman" came his smooth voice , you pressed your face against his back, feeling the soft fabric against your cheek and breathing in his sweet scent but your legs could not hold you for long as they buckled and gave in making you drop to your knees. Vergil turned and kneeled in front of you, reaching out a cloved  hand he gently stroke your cheek with his thump, trailing your jawbone, touching your lips. With out noticing you leaned into his touch, Vergil chuckled lifting your head a little with his thump so that you could look at him, as he grabbed your chin and crashed his lips onto yours in a passionate kiss like the way he used to kiss you when he was just only V.

It was breathtaking making you gasp for air, his lips travelled to your neck as he bit into it leaving a clear mark, you moaned in surprise but enjoyed the sensation, making you shiver. You could hear him breathing in you scent but he pushed you to the ground hovering over you crashing his lips on yours again. His hand squeezed your thigh, travelling up under you shirt, feeling the warmth of your skin was something Vergil couldn't get enough of. But Vergil growled suddenly in irritation as he climb of you and stood up, making you sit up in surprise but then you realised what could it be as a scent travelled on the air.

"Dante" 

Just as Vergil said his name the red demon came into view walking with confidence towards his twin brother, "well bro looks like I might be interrupting something " as his gaze travelled toward you "are you alright (Y/N)?". You just nodded as the two brothers started circling, but this wasn't a serious fight there was amusement in their eyes as they grinned and suddenly attacked each other. You were taking back by their power, it was unbelievable and it kept growing as they fight, so this was Sparda's power, this you had to see as you moved out the way and found a safe spot to sit and watch the show.

The fighting when on for awhile, both seemed evenly matched but as they charged again, a blue light dropped between them as it revealed another demon pushing both Dante and Vergil back, your eyes winded who could this be?? the demon transformed back to normal and you were shocked to see that it was Nero. 

But something was bugging your senses as you took a peek over the hedge, you saw the destruction of Red Grave City, your heart ache for the people that lost their lives to this demon tree but then you saw something that made your eyes widen in fear, Nico's van was being overwhelmed by demon bugs as it raced to reach the tree. Ignoring the pain in your tired body you stood up and walked to the edge, you had to help her no matter what. You took a glance back at the Vergil fighting Nero, a small smile appeared on your lips I will see you again, with that you jumped over the edge.

Falling a bit you forced your demon side to trigger as your wings sprout from your back flying towards Nico hitting the ground with a bang, the shock wave from your landing send most demons flying. "Oooo wii (Y/N) just in time" as Nico said relieved. After making quick work of the bugs Lade and Trish joined you. "Stopping Vergil isn't gone stop the demons from entering the human world , we need to seal of the gateway" Trish said, you thought for a moment "I might not be able to close the gate but I can hold them off long enough for those idiots to get here" you said, before any of them could argue with that you already jumped into the portal to the demon world, landing on the spot where the fruit grew.

"(Y/N) ! " Nico yelled but it was to late. "This isn't good if she pushes her self to far she will die" said Trish "her human body isn't use to her wakened demonic power yet". Nico huffed in frustration but seeing the situation you were all they got so she had no choice but to have faith in you "You better come back".
