Shadow Heart Part 6

Your eyes flutter open, you were still here but where was V?, You stood up slowly and yawned but froze when you realised what V did 'Shit ..Dammit',  that's what happens when you let your guard down and get carried away. you huffed as you made your way out into the open but saw you had some company as the demon bugs closed in on you, they probably caught your scent while you were passed out. "Right am in need to get rid of some frustrations, who wants to die first?" you said taking your sword in your hand and bend down into a stance. The demons screeched and charged at you, you avoided their attacks, seeing an opening you decapitated one, and ripped the wings of other, things were starting to get brutal as you ripped the head of a bug clean of. 

But you were angry and frustrated, you did not want V to die, but he wouldn't let you help him. More and more bugs were appearing as a queen emerged from the ground and screeched at you, sending green spit everywhere "you want some to?, alright come on lets dance" You said firing shot after shot at her head, staggering her, seeing an opening , you jumped over a demon and used one as a step to bring your sword down on her head but you froze in mid air as a claw came through your chest, impaling you. A second queen has come to help her sister, bringing her claw slowly to her face she screeched. You looked down at the blood starting to pool around you, strangely enough, you didn't feel pain, you qess your body was in severe shock. You gripped the claw point with both bloody hands, No it can't end like this, I have to get to V  your thoughts raced, time seem to be slowing down. With all the strength you could muster you broke the tip of with a yell and slid of the claw landing with a hard thud on the ground, the queen howled in pain and backed off, as if a signal was send the bugs went for you at once. Holding your chest with one hand, you saw your reflection in your own pool of blood. You felt like such a failure ,Anger started to rise inside you, as you slam the ground making it crack. A pulsing feeling throbbed in your heart It cannot end like this ! you felt the heat of anger travel through your body, a purplish glow emanating from your form, your eyes turned gold with a loud roar like yell , you transformed. Scale like armour of black and purple covered your body with white and purple glow like pure demonic energy running through you. The demons started backing off sensing your power.

"I have awaken" came a deep growl, your devil side finally broke free and was in control of this match now. The demon bugs screeched not sure what to do, but the queens signalled attack, like a swarm your body was covered under a pile of bugs. You roared in anger, sending them flying off you, you held out your hand as your sword appeared, the demon energy inside you influenced it, transforming it into something much more powerful. Your demon side grinned and charged forward thrashing your blade from side to side, hitting multiple enemies at once. making quick work of the horde of demons, you stood on a pile of bug corpses, your breath visible in the cold air. You understood now what V meant, letting out a huff you opened your wings and shot straight in the air, making your way to the base of the Qilhoth tree.

At the base of the tree, everyone were planning on what to do next, Urizen was at the top and the only way was to go the other way around. Nico sighed she hoped you were okay, V told her where you were and what he did to prevent you from coming here. She highly disagree with him, knowing you can stand on your own two feet and don't need any cuddling.  Just as Dante, Nero and V were about to make their way up, a loud crash was heard as you broke though the wall. Dante cocked his head to the side in curiosity this is new , you emerged from the dust cloud in full devil form. You relaxed your body, a purple glow shined from your chest as you transformed back into human form. You looked at everyone and smiled at their shocked expression  " ooowe I knew that girl was special" Nico beamed she knew there was something different but she never imagined you having demonic blood in your veins.

Dante chuckled "well now (Y/N) you are just full of surprises but this is no tee party"he said turning around. V looked at you with curious eyes, you are indeed full of surprises. Nero just chuckled , you are one chick he didn't want to mess with " we need all the help we can get". And with that the three men split up, each going there own way. you turned to look at Trish, lady and Nico "Well what you waiting for ? an invitation, he is getting away" Nico said tapping on the vans door in a hurry motion, you just giggled and made your way after V.

V staggered to a burned out car and leaned on it, he was getting weaker, he didn't have much demonic energy left. He lifted his hand up and saw particles of his existence began to disappear, he looked up when he heard rocks fall from above and you landed with a thud on the ground. V Chuckled "Is its just me or do like following me" he said watching you walk closer to him seeing a serious expression on your face as you stopped right in front of him "Let me help you V" you said, V smiled and struggled to his feet using his cane as balance and support. "well it appears I have no choice, you are.. persistent" He said lifting a hand to your chin, making you look up in his eyes "I'd rather spent what little time I have by your side" V gave you a breath taking kiss, even in his weaken state he still held his charm. 

You grabbed him in a embrace, a tear fell from your eyes, you could feel the demonic energy in him fading " we will get through this V, I promise" you said determent. This made V smile but suddenly Griffin appeared " O sure" he said sarcastically " now all we have to do is just magically float to the top"

"It is true what they say about birds small brained so shut it chicken" you spat, that bird will someday get a beating. You already know a way up by using the main veins that carry blood to the top of the tree, its better than to climb up and risk falling. V suddenly bend over in a coughing fit and collapse on the ground. The energy in him was fading to quickly, you knelled next to him, brushing the raven hair locks out his face, his skin became pale and his breath came in heavy pants. You clenched your jaw, what to do....

 But then something hit you, its a long shot but it might just work.....
