Demon Desire Part 8 (Vergil x reader)

You landed with a soft thud on the ground and looked around, you were back on top of the Qliphoth tree. Vergil stood on the other side with his back facing you, for a moment you weren't sure what to do or what to say but Vergil luckily broke the silence "Well well (Y/N) ..are you upset that you lost V?" you looked at him as he turned around to face you" No, V isn't gone, he is just part of you" you said frozen to the spot, you couldn't believe the demonic energy coming from this guy. Very intimidating. Your demon side growled confused by Vergil sudden increase in power, making you feel uneasy. But he just chuckled, his icy stare not leaving your figure "If that is what you choose to believe..little girl, then so be it".

Your eyes winded, for a moment time moved very slow as Vergil dashed with such speed towards you, with his grip on Yamato, swinging his blade. You barley dodged and blocked with your own blade, locking blades with Vergil. Sparks could be seen where the two blades were connected as Vergil forced you down on one knee, your hands started shaking as you felt Vergil's power. You looked up at his icy stare and saw something in his eyes that you didn't expect..amusement. Damm bastard was just playing around, You felt a low dangerous growl within your chest, your demon side wasn't amused by this.

You broke from Vergil, dodging to the left attempting to get him from behind as you turned but he predicted it and side kicked you, sending you flying to the opposite side. Your body already felt exhausted due to the struggle of stopping him and the demon tree. "Dammit" you mumbled as you staggered to your feet letting out a huge sigh "This is no fun, why cant we just make out than fight?" you were probably asking for your head on a spike but if he could have fun with this,why not you besides you didn't really care you thought as you dusted of your pants. But when you saw Vergil he had a stunned expression on his face, you could have sworn you saw him blush. A small smile played on your lips,you got into an attack position and so did he, your muscles tensed as you concentrated on your demonic energy making your eyes turn a purplish colour. With everything you had you charged at him with lighting reflex, using your light weight body against his bulkier one. 

But it seemed to only work for a short time, he was getting faster as you fought like he was adjusting himself to the speed you were using, playing him for a fool , you successfully mocked him into thinking you were going to the right when u suddenly came from the left and barley missed his handsome face. The two of you broke apart, a drop of blood fell from his face as a neat cut stretched along his cheek.

You did not want to this, you would rather go on where he left off but if fighting is the only way to make him see reason than so be it. Vergil gave a cold chuckled as he  wiped the blood from his face, the wound healed instantly as he licked the blood from his thump. For a moment you were bit captivated by that, a blush appearing on your face as you looked away embarrassed. As Vergil charged again, the battle went on, you could feel the train on your body as you pushed yourself to the limit and just when you wanted to strike a  blow, your body gave out.

But before you hit the ground you were caught by a cloved  hand as Vergil caught you, your breathing came in short pants as you tried to settle the burn in your lungs, your whole body felt heavy and on the verge of falling apart. Vergil gently set you on the ground, your eyes not leaving him as he kneeled next to you and gently touched your face with his finger tips, they felt cold.

"Go Home (Y/N), there is nothing for you here" his smooth voice sending chills down your spine, you eyes staring at greyish blue ones. Then he suddenly just stood up and and walked away.

"..no.." came your weak voice, Vergil stopped in his tracks " You may think there is nothing for me here, but your wrong, everything that means to me ...is standing right infront..of me" Anger bubbled in your heart, and i'll make you see it you thought as felt heat rising from the core of your spine. Your demon side had enough it wants to come out as a growl escaped your lips, your body transformed, your skin turned to armour scales , hands turned into claws and teeth became fangs along with your wings of purple and black.

Vergil didn't expect you to have so much power after only discovering what you were a few days ago. Your demon side was in complete control, it was as if your human conscious was asleep. Your swords clash again, sparks went flying from each contact, you were starting over power him in his normal stage and Vergil knew that, as he suddenly triggered and drove yamato through your chest.

The blow was just to much in your state as you turned back to normal Vergil did the same, but with the last bit of strength you could muster you grabbed hold of his dark blue scarf around his neck and pulled down, crashing your lips against his making Yamato go in deeper. Touching his pale skin with your finger tips in a loving manner. But your legs gave out as the last bit of energy disappeared from your limbs but Vergil caught you, wrapping his arm around your waist almost like an ending to this deathly dance, but your eyes never left his till the darkness over took you.
