Crimson Devil Part 16 (Dante x Reader)

Morrison stopped in front of the neon lights of Devil May Cry shop, straitening his tie as he climbed out the car "Dante better be home" he mumbled opening the doors of Devil May Cry. Dante was fast asleep behind his desk with his feet prod up, snoring softly. Morrison walked up to Dante's desk slapping his boots of the desk, almost falling of his chair Dante woke up with a fright "Jeeez Morrison cant you just knock?"

"I did, now get your lazy ass up, Trish and Lady are already in Red Grave City " Morrison said walking out to his car, Dante huffed and grabbed his twin pistols and Rebellion putting them into place  before swinging his jacket over his shoulder following Morrison.

Red Grave City..

The city was in chaos as people screamed, running from demon like bugs, Qliphoth roots were destroying everything in their path to get to the people, having needle like points they impale their victims, sucking out the precious red liquid, turning them into Qliphoth pollen an ash type substance that turn into dust when touched. Morrison's car sped through the city till it came to a stop in the heart of Red Grave where the Qliphoth tree has sprouted. Climbing out the car Dante yawed and stretched his limbs who was soon joined by Trish and Lady "What do you think Dante?" Trish asked adjusting the huge legendary sword on her shoulder, Dante eyed the sword wondering when and how did she get it? but he ignored it and grabbed Rebellion's hilt "Lets find out shall we...where's the kid?" Dante asked Morrison " The kid is on his way" he said taking out a cigar sniffing it before putting it into his mouth. "Well he is going to have to catch up, this can't wait" Dante looked up at the top of the tree sensing something powerful was waiting for them and he had a feeling who it could be. Rolling his shoulders Dante made his way to the base of the tree with Trish and Lady Following close behind.

Approaching a cave like entrance at the base of the tree that seems to be leading up, stopping for a second Dante skilfully dodged an attack from above, landing where Dante stood a second ago. A Empusa Queen or in other words big ass bug blocked their way, she screeched in rage at the intruders, calling her brood to her side. Swarms of demon bugs started to surround them but Dante raised his arms "aaaah so this is the welcoming we get" shooting a demon bug in the head as it jumped at him "this is gone be one hell of a party !" Dante shouted taking hold of Rebellion.

You dosed off as the train made its way to Red Grave station, who were you? just a human girl trying to rid the world of the annoyance of demons as a demon huntress. Your only taking this trip because of the cash reward other than that you didn't care about anything else. You were separated from your family for reasons unknown, you hoped maybe a lead will appear. Your eyes twitched in your sleep as a dream or maybe a memory started to form of a boy with snow white hair, you reached out to the boy, his presence felt strangely  familiar but the boy suddenly the boy turned into a man with a crimson red jacket, you saw him take a glance back at you but you couldn't see his face just a dashing smile. Red liquid started to pool around you, the iron stench of blood hit your nose as you tried to run but your legs were stuck, sinking into the crimson red liquid. 

You jolted awake, a shiver ran down your spine as remnants of the dream still hanged around but you pushed it aside as you stretched and yawned, wiping your eyes on your sleeve to clear your fuzzy vision. Taking a glance to your left you noticed the commotion rushing to the exist in attempt to get off, taking a look out the window you saw the train station was being overwhelmed with demon bugs "time to go to work" you said to yourself, climbing out the window you stood on top of the train roof. Taking out your long barrel pistols, you shot a clear way, giving the passengers a chance to escape. Jumping from the roof some of the passengers followed you thinking that you are safest to be with at this moment as you shot demon after demon, leaving a trail of lifeless demon bodies behind you.

You quickly cleared out most demons as you made your way through the station but stopped when you heard yelling as a few passengers were ruining from a few empusa bugs, you turned swiftly shooting a bullet through ones head before it could jump at a man but the man tripped as another demon bug snatched him and ate his head off. Suddenly Goliath roots broke through the walls and ceiling, sending Qliphoth roots out slithering like serpent the roots try to fish out any renaming survivors. A woman ran directly into the direction of a root hiding in the wall, it shot out impaling her, blood splashed on the wall as the blood was drained out of her, her fair skin turned to pollen, crumbling to dust as the root retracted its needle like point. 

You clenched your hands around your guns dammit, too late but you didn't see a demon bug approaching you in the shadows, without even looking at it you raised your gun over your shoulder and shot it till its body hit the ground with a thud. You swiftly turned around, putting away your guns and pulled your jacket hood up making your way to the heart of Red Grave City.

Later..

Entering the city, you realised that this part of the city was completely deserted, not a soul or demon in sight. Strolling into the road you didn't expect a Van would appear out of nowhere, out of control..heading straight for you
