The Hidden Rain is terrible.

I'm stuck under a cloak all the time because it's raining no matter where I go.

Pretty aptly named now that I think about it.

"I need a room," I said to a woman in the front desk of a hotel. She was a really boring appearing girl. Dreary and boring. Just like the village.

"Whatever, how many beds?" she asked.

"One," I replied as if it was the most obvious thing. I mean—look at me. I am one person.

"What's the length of your stay?"

"Shortest 1 month, longest, 2 months," I told her. She scribbled it down and gave me a key and a check. I paid it off and then went to the room.

When I was in there I threw my stuff down and hung my cloak to dry.

"Shouldn't wear the headband," I mumbled, taking it off and burying it deep into my bag, "will this be an issue though?"

I looked at my arm in the mirror that had the guardian symbol on.

"I doubt it. It doesn't look like it even eases up on rain, I'll always be wearing this cloak," I sighed before going to the window and calling for a messenger bird. I wrote on a small slip of paper of my arrival and what the situation of the area was, the bird landed in my window, and I folded the paper up and placed it into the message pocket.

"Fly true to your course," I whispered before sending it to the leaf village again.

A few weeks later_

Time had passed and I didn't see anything happening and so the messages between me and the leaf village ceased because I basically had nothing to report until today.

I was wandering around the Hidden Rain when I noticed I was being trailed. I managed to shake them off but also pick pocketed one of them before returning to my room. A file.

I opened it to see it was filled with anbu black ops from all over the world. I called the bird, but the door was being knocked in.

"Great. It would seem I've been caught," I muttered freezing the floor after grabbing my bag and jumping out the window. I gave the file to the bird with a warning that I was found out and a seal over the top that only the Hokage could break.

I sprinted into the trees dropping my cloak at the same time.

"She's a Snowflake Guardian!"

I was surrounded.

"Where are you from little guardian?"

"Why would I tell you anything?" I glared around me. I couldn't see well through the mist that just seemed to get thicker by the second.

"We'll just have to make you then."

"I'd like to see you try," I grinned as I backed up and tried to find a shadow.

It's too damn misty.

Turning, I threw a rain of kunai with paper bombs attached to them to my side to clear my way.

"Bombs!" someone shouted before I heard them scatter.

The sound of explosions followed, and I sprinted forward.

They are not catching me.

Not this easily.

"Damnit! Does this mist ever let up?!" I shouted as I pulled myself up into a tree and started jumping through the treetops, trying to make it as hard as I could to follow me.

They were keeping up, but they weren't close enough to attack let alone catch me, so I put more chakra into my feet and set myself flying forward faster.

They knew I was a Snowflake Guardian. They know what that is. Are they part of the group of people who've been hunting me and my Dad? Who hunt the l/n's? I hope not, I'm not too sure I'm ready to be facing those kinds of people right now.

Damnit—I just need to find a cave or something I can hide in while I try get a solid enough shadow to slip through.

Over there—I noticed a line of caves and took a breath before creating an ice clone.

"Distract them, yeah?" I asked it.

"You got it," she returned before we split off into two different directions. She continued on through the trees, while I took to the caves.

I went down the line to the furthest one away and then ducked inside.

Too dark.

I need a fire to create some shadows in here. But I guess... this'll do for now. Just got to stay quiet. If anything, someone will come after me once they get my message. That I am sure of.

(A/n: yeah so I've gotten rid of the amnesia thing because it had zero point to the plot or development and idk what I was thinking when I wrote it at all so, bye bye pointless amnesia.)

Tsunade's PoV

"We have word from y/n!" Shizune came flying into my office with a bird on her arm, it was desperately holding onto a folder.

It hopped off Shizune's shoulder and landed on the desk. It gave me the folder and squawked unhappily at me.

I looked at the folder to see a high-level seal on it.

"Shizune!"

"Yes ma'am!" she stood at attention.

"Go get me Kakashi, Guy and Asuma," I told her. She nodded and ran out of the room as I start to release the seal.

The three jounin walked into the room when I opened it and pulled out a slip of paper.

"Lady Tsunade, you called for us?" Guy asked, I looked at them and then started reading the note, my hand up to indicate for them to wait a moment.

'I did my job, not too well, I had been trailed for a day or two, I noticed it recently and acted, I managed to get this file. I took a look and decided its best you take it and find out what's happening. I'll most likely have been caught by the time you get this and so I'll be running. I'll try find somewhere to hide if I can't find any solid shadows to slip through and get back. Don't panic too much though, I'll be fine. Just hiding.
¬ f/n l/n'

"Y/n has been caught," I reported.

"What? How?" Kakashi asked.

"She must've been noticed while trying to get this to us," I raised the file before pulling out papers, "anbu black ops members from all over the great nations."

"What's her plan?" Asuma asked.

"She's already put it into place. She's gone into hiding. Based off the fact she hasn't returned on her own, I suspect she's not able to get away," I started, they seemed to understand, "we need to find her, help her get out of the Hidden Rain, and bring her back home."

"Time to get the teams back together," Guy said before they all disappeared I stopped Asuma.

"What is it?" he asked.

"It's likely there are some choice people there," I told him, "she's taken on her role as a Snowflake Guardian, as a Guadian of sorts yourself I'm sure you understand her struggle. Be aware when you go to find her, you may run into people who are adamant to hunt her down."

"I see," Asuma nodded, "alright, not to worry. I'll keep that in mind."

"Bring her back in one piece, yeah?" I asked.

"Of course, don't worry," he nodded before turning and leaving the room.

How can I not worry?

I glanced out of the window and sighed.

"Why did I send my own Goddaughter out to such a place?" I muttered, "the girl is barely 12 years old. Yes she is chuunin now but even this... I went too far. I'm sorry, m/n. F/n. Truly."
