"Come on, you three, don't tell me you're tired already?" I called at my old team, Riku was sat against a tree breathing heavily, Hyousuke was crouched on the floor holding one of his arms (I cut him with an icicle) and...

"Where did Yuuto go?" I asked, Riku and Hyousuke pointed to a tree near me. There the missing boy was, pinned to the tree by two icicles holding him by the material of his shirt lose around his shoulders.

"Can someone get me down please?" he asked. He looks like a scarecrow.

"Give us a break, y/n, we've been going at this since we got back this morning and it's..." Riku looked at the sky, "past the mid-afternoon. I'm so hungry as well."

I sighed and walked over to Yuu, grabbing the icicles and letting him down again. After I threw them into the grass, I melted them and evaporated the water before walking to Hyousuke and healing him up. Riku stood up and stretched before Hyousuke stood and lightly chopped my head with his hand.

"Calm down now," he told me, "there's nothing you can do. Wearing yourself out isn't going to make anything better."

"Actually, it will. The less I have chance to think about it, the better," I replied coldly. He caught me in a headlock and ruffled my hair.

"You lose that attitude right now. And who said you could talk to me in that tone just because you're not officially on my team anymore, huh?" he asked, "when I officially get you back, you'll regret it, kid."

"Get off, Hyousuke sensei!" I tried to fight against him, but he kept going.

"Not until you apologise and calm yourself down," he replied. I sighed.

"Ok, ok, I'm sorry. I'm sorry!" I shouted back. He let me go and I straightened myself out before looking at him annoyed.

"I can't believe you just did that to me," I gave him an unamused expression.

"Oh believe it. And I will do it again if I have to," he replied before sending me a smile and pulling out a cigarette. He lit it and puffed the smoke into my face before turning around as my eyes started burning and I coughed at the sensation.

I forgot just how much I hated that.

"Now go home, have dinner, take a shower, and rest," Hyousuke told me, "Team 10 and Kakashi will be fine. I'm sure Lady Tsunade sent people out to help them."

That just annoys me even more.

I'm not on the backup.

But I guess it makes sense, I'd probably let my emotions run a bit too much.

"Fine," I grumbled before walking out the training ground and going towards home. I got home and showered. I stank and was drenched from my icicles starting to melt over me when my anger was getting more out of control.

I guess that's why that Snowflake Guardian, Akifumi, kept telling me to never use my ice when I'm angry. It just melts. It makes sense, the ice changes depending on my mood.

I just sat in a f/c shirt and shorts, a towel on my head and slouched against the wall.

"He really is an idiot," I muttered to myself before pulling my knees to my chest and just resting my forehead on the top of my knees.

Shikamaru's PoV

We returned to the village.

Returning from defeating Kakuzu and Hidan and successfully avenging Asuma sensei's death.

By we, I meant Yamato, Kakashi, Ino, Naruto, Choji, Sai, Sakura, and me.

Kotetsu and Izumo just did a rotation in the gate keepers box and noticed us.

"You might want to go see y/n," Kotetsu told us without an explanation.

"The mission," Choji muttered. The mission? He noticed my confusion.

"The Akatsuki, you idiot," he hit the back of my head and the situation dawned on me just as Hyousuke, Riku and Yuuto walked into my line of sight. They're back now?

"You—" Yuuto glared at me before walking towards us and grabbed my collar pulling me up to his face.

"Yuuto?" Naruto questioned, everyone was looking at us that's when I noticed their appearances. They were dirty and soaked from head to toe.

"I got pinned to a tree because of you!" Yuuto glared at me, "and Hyousuke got gashed and Riku was exhausted to the point he felt like his legs were literal weights."

"Yuuto," Hyousuke called him, he dropped me and walked away, "go buy towels. The water is dripping on my cigarette."

"It's that all you care about?" Yuuto asked before walking away grumbling incoherent words to himself.

"I don't know how anyone keeps up with that girl," Riku shook his head before flopping on the floor, "I'm a medic not a freaking taijutsu expert. Plus, I couldn't get any of her blood! That just annoyed me even more..."

"We should ask y/n to train you more," Hyousuke suggested.

"No way! She's a walking demon!" Riku shook his head.

"Y/n did this to you?" I asked, they looked at me then nodded.

"We got back, we went to her, she was angry, we got dragged into releasing her anger," Riku replied with a shrug, "her enemies are going to love fighting her at some point. Especially all those bounty hunters. Lord knows there are so many looking for her right now. We got stopped at least eight times a day by those money grubbers."

"I agree," Hyousuke nodded as a towel went flying into his face, "excuse me? Yuuto? Where are you manners?"

"You don't get manners when you send me on your errands because you want to smoke," Yuuto shot back before passing Riku a towel. They all started drying their hair and looked at us. Well me.

"She was really worried, you know," Riku said giving me a sad expression.

"More worried than we've ever seen her, and we've seen her plenty worried. I mean that one accidental S Class mission we got dragged into terrified her to death but even that is nothing compared to all of... this," Yuuto added before the three of them started to walk away.

"Go see her," Hyousuke calls before talking to the two chuunin in front of him.

"Choji! Want barbecue?" Yuuto called back.

"Hell yeah!" Choji cheered before running after them, I could see Hyousuke looking at his wallet like his death was here.

"I'm leaving," I say before walking in the direction of y/n's house. What was she doing while we were out?

What did Yuuto mean by he was pinned to a tree?
