The next day_

A knocked came from the front door and I heard it being answered by Yoshino before footsteps came towards my room and a knock came from my door.

"Yes?" I looked over to it and it opened, Tsunade stepped in, glancing around as she did, "ah. Lady Tsunade?"

She looked over to me and smiled.

"Well, if it isn't my favourite l/n," she said. I frowned before shaking my head, "staying in bed. Good."

"Please. We can joke around later, this is serious. You're here for two reasons. The first, I would like to leave the village for 2 or 3 years to train," I started with the easy topic first.

"You can leave for 3. Do you know where you're going?" she asked as I moved my legs and she perched on my bed where they'd occupied previously, I nodded.

"As for the second thing. My clone, it overheard the bounty hunters looking for me talking about something..." I trailed as I tried to think off the word, "not great. They were talking about a group called the Akatsuki."

At that, she leaned forward slightly.

"Go on," she urged as I was about to speak again, Shizune came flying into the room, pig in arms and a worried look on her face. Tsunade sighed and took to her feet again.

"It'll have to wait until you return. I'll have your slip of leave approved. You can leave the village for your training once your bedrest is up," she told me. I nodded and then watched as the pair hurried out of my room.

Great, now I'm irritated that I couldn't tell her the information. Just what was Shizune so worried about?

"You're really letting her go even though you've let Naruto go as well?" Shizune asked. That was the last I heard because I had Kiba shouting something at me through my window. I had no idea when he got there but he was there, basically hanging in the room through the window.

"Repeat that?" I suggested. He sighed.

"I said—do you want to come train with me and Akamaru?" he asked, I smiled but shook my head.

"Sorry, still on bedrest and besides I've got to pack," I told him as I pulled a bag out from under my bed. He looked at me curiously.

"You're leaving?" Kiba asked.

"Yep. I'm going on a training and Guardian hunt," I replied as I saw Shikamaru enter the houses front garden through the gate over Kiba's head, "do you want to come inside rather than hanging on the window like that?"

I stood and opened the sliding door to the outside area beside the window and Shikamaru stepped up onto the deck next to Kiba as Akamaru instantly jumped around the room, sniffing everything and anything until he sneezed off the attack of the dust bunnies.

"Sorry, Akamaru, I haven't really had chance to clean up recently," I laughed awkwardly at him as he just exhaled before curling up on the end of my bed as Kiba and Shikamaru stepped into the room as well. Kiba sat on the floor and Shikamaru leaned in the doorway, just watching as I stood up and started shoving some clothes and basic things I needed into the bag before tossing it next to my door to the hallway, making a mental note not to forget food for the road and water when it came to it.

I looked at the boys to see Kiba glaring at Shikamaru and Shikamaru looking at Kiba annoyed and bored. Akamaru was just sleeping soundlessly on my bed.

"What's up with you two?" I asked.
