Chapter 3

I ran out of the school meeting up with Layla and James outside. "There you are! Ok come here quick there starting class." She said I crouched over and crawled to the window we all put our heads to the window so that you could only see our eyes.

Steven sat in the back right next to the window he smiled and looked at us the teacher called attendance and then a few minutes later Tess walked Into the class room and started talking to the teacher. Layla looked at James and I and smiled. "It's working!" She whispered. Soon the teacher got up and told the class something then got up and left with Tess. "Come on quick!" James whispered and started to open up the window. Steven through his backpack out first then slipped through landing softly on the ground. We all smiled and looked back into the classroom waiting for the teacher to come back. A few minutes later she walked into the room sat at her desk and started to read a book.

We all quietly cheered the plan had worked. We walked to the entrance of the school and met up with Tess then went home. I ran home trying to sneak inside un noticed. Few mom wasn't home yet. The bus showed up a few minuets later and Ben got off with a worried look in his face, "there you are!" He cheered running into my arms. "Hey buddy sorry I just missed the bus" I lied hugging him tight. "Few I thought you weren't going to be home" he said shakily.

I grabbed his hand and walked him inside. I went up to my room and changed into my outfit I was a vampire type thing, it was a short black skirt with red shirt that had fake blood stains on it then bright red lipstick. I pulled my long straight black hair into a pony tail with a bright red bow I had red smokey eye shadow and winged eye liner and I put in fake fangs but there not the ones you can't talk in and they cover your whole mouth you just put them over your teeth. I finished my outfit by putting on black shoes with a wedge and a black bag with red lace over the sides. I stared at my self in the mirror smiling I was so excited. I ran into Bens room to help him with his outfit. He was a wearwolf and then there was a nock on the door.

"Hi!" Layla said walking into my house holding Donny's hand. "Hey guys!" I said smiling Layla looked perfect as usual she was this pink and blue fairy it was awesome. "You look amazing!" I said smiling and hugging her and then we sat inside waiting for everyone else to get here". James Steven and Tess showed up about 10 minutes later, Steven was a zombie, James was a alien and Tess was a pirate. "Hey guys" I said and they ran inside. My mom took Donny and Ben to the fair and we walked holding our bags we were so excited.

Once we got there it was crazy there were people everywhere! There were bouncy houses decorations roller coasters haunted hay rides I was squealing with happiness. We all took a picture and then looked around deciding what we would do next. We ended up riding the roller coasters went tricker treating ate all the food just basically everything. At about 10:00 my mom took the boys home and we decided to stay.

We did the haunted hay ride last we all got in the front and looked around. Creepy things and people popped out at us and soon we were driving for a while. "Why is this taking so long?" Steven whispered. I shrugged it was kinda weird we were still here. We kept driving and soon we all looked at each other with worried faces and the ride came to a stop. "Um?" I looked at Tess who looked really scared.

"Guys let's get out of here!" Layla said shakily. We Turned around to see that one else was on the ride and the driver was gone just disappeared. "I don't like this!" I sobbed grabbing Layla and Tess and we all did a group hug. We jumped of the ride and looked around there was no one to be seen and it was almost pitch black. "Guys wait!" Steven said grabbing the lantern off of the hay ride. We all started walking back to where we thought the festival might be. "Let me call my mom" I said pulling out my phone. "crap! No service" I said I felt tears weld up in my eyes. What was happening to us.

"Guy I think it's this way!" James said I could hear the hope in his voice. We all followed. "Do you guys smell that?" Tess said holding her nose and coughing. I did it smelled rancid like really really bad. "Ewwwww what is that !" I yelled coughing and gagging it actually smelled horrible. "It's coming from over here" Steven said walking behind a tree I walked behind him and the rest of the group followed. "OH MY GOD!" Steven yelled I screamed as loud as I could tears streaming down my face Tess and Layla joined in too, there was a dead body on the ground.
