I nearly had a heart attack when my mother said those words. Did the killer take her? Was he going to kill her too? I couldn't even comprehend what was happening all I could do was sob into Stevens arms waiting for news from the police. And the fact that the letters and all the information we had could possible get her back made me feel even more guilty. Because what if our family died but we had Tess back or Tess died but we had our family's this just wasn't a decision I could make. But the. Again I was over thinking all of this.

I looked up at Steven and he buried his face in my shoulder. I could tell he was as upset as me she was practically my sister. "Do you think It was you know who?" Steven whispered. I shook my head "I don't know I don't want to make assumptions" I said and I nuzzled my head into his neck trying to forget about all the bad little things more like the bog things but there easier to handle when you think their small.

Steve. Rubbed my back and we sat there in silence thinking about Tess. "Guys I'm going over to Tess's moms house ok? You guys can stay here bens at a friends house and dad's at work so call me if you need anything" my mom said before running upstairs to get ready.

Soon she was out the door and then there were two. "I'll get some food" I said and I ran into the kitchen to get some cereal. Steven stayed seated on a chair and looked at me with wide eyes. "Are you ok?" I asked he nodded. "I'm just worried, stuff has changed since last week and I don't know how much more I can take" he said honestly. A tear slid down my cheek I had been trying not to break down all morning but I can't anymore a price of me is just breaking apart and I can't pretend it's not their.

I ran back over to Steven and cried into his arms and he soothingly stroke my back. "It's ok Alex" he said and I squeezed him tighter never wanting to let go. I feel like my friends especially him were the last things keeping me sane and I had just lost one of them.
