I cried into Stevens jacket and he held me tight trying to cry as little as he could but soon couldn't handle it Layla was on the other side of me crying into my shoulder and we just kinda sat there crying. Tess's mom was outside the car being held by police officers she was going completely ballistic. Tears were pouring down her face and she was screaming at them to let her see her daughter but of course this was a ruder investigation so they couldn't let her see her own flesh and blood.

A police officer got into the car and started driving away from the scene driving us to my house.he parked the car in my drive way and i opened the door to see my mom crying at the kitchen table and rubbing her growing baby bump. "Oh officer I heard you were coming kids go upstairs ok?" She said and I grabbed Steven and Layla and dragged them to the top of the stairs to my room.

I collapsed onto my bed and let the water works come back. Steven laid beside me and kayak in the other and we basically repeated what we had just done in the car. "Where is James?" Steven said. "Being and idiot probably out not knowing what's going on" Layla said and she turned onto her side and curled into a ball. "She's gone" I whimpered "how can she be gone!" I said and let more tears pour down my face what was happening to us.

I woke up next to Steven and Layla and carefully got up from the bed to walk downstairs. "Hey mom any um news?" I said I kept blinking back tears... She was gone and I was going to find out who killed her."no sweetie I'm so sorry" she said and came in to pull me into a light hug so she wouldn't hurt the baby. "Mom I need you to be really careful I'm not letting you or that baby get hurt" I said sternly, "don't worry Alexa we will be fine" she said patting her stomach. "Alex?" I heard Steven say groggily as he trotted down the stairs. "In the kitchen" I responded and soon he came in his hair messed up and in his clothes from Last night. Just then the phone started ringing and my mom darted to it. "Hello?" "..." "Yes , yes ok we will be there right away thank you!" And then. She put down the phone. "Go wake up Layla were going to the police station"
